Why two stars? See below:
Tawan lost our marriage license on the day of our wedding and did not tell us it was lost until FOUR days later despite me asking her directly TWICE- once following the wedding ceremony, and once at the conclusion of our reception. She ignored my question for four days and told my husband and I well after that she "never recovered the license" without first admitting she lost it. This delayed our ability to resolve the issue swiftly and interrupted our plans to leave town the next day. Tawan took one of my bridesmaid's phones (without permission) and entered a five star google review for TNT company using my bridesmaid's name and likeness. One of my wedding guests witnessed this incidence and shared it with me after the wedding. Not only is this an unethical business practice- as it obviously undermines the legitimacy of any of the five-star reviews you might see on this platform, but it's wildly inappropriate and a misuse of someone else's property. I wish I had known when it happened as it merits an apology. Businesses should earn their reviews- good or bad. As reported in other reviews, Tawan was short and snappy toward me during the planning process and on the day of the wedding. When I asked about the marriage license following the wedding ceremony, she rushed me out of the bridal suite and in an annoyed tone responded " I got it I got it" which of course I later found out was a lie. When I called Tawan upon arriving to my venue (I noticed my guests were waiting outside)- I called to ask why the guests were not seated in the ceremony hall. She answered in an annoyed tone "Why are you calling me?". This of course upset me and various members of my wedding party as she was on speaker phone. It's rather obvious why, I, the client, would be calling her, my coordinator, who I am paying with any questions. Finally, at the conclusion of our wedding she grabbed the mic and told all of our guests to pull out their phones and enter a five-star review for her company on google. We did not know she was planning to do that; if we had known, we would have asked her NOT to do it. Instead, leaving her business cards in the lobby would have been more tactful and professional.
In conclusion, my husband and I acknowledge there is no way we would have planned a wedding successfully without hiring a coordinator, as we chose to get married during one of the busiest seasons of our lives. With that said, there were items Tawan handled well - florals, overall décor, and coordination of our multiple vendors (with the exception of the officiant).
However, the four big issues mentioned above eroded her successes in the role. I would not hire Tawan again and I do not plan to refer her services. I sincerely hope she learns from her previous mistakes/misjudgments and improves her business approach (hire more staff to delegate tasks) and client...
Read moreMy Husband and myself booked with TNT Catering for our entire wedding. This included wedding planning, catering, decorating and full day event planning and setup. Our wedding was for April 16th 2022. We were required to pay up front for services which was fine. On the day of the wedding Tawan(wedding planner and owner of the company) and her husband showed up to the venue late for setup.Which resulted in the wedding starting late. The wedding was supposed to start at 2:30pm but due to the decorations and chairs not being setup the wedding did not start until closer to 3:30pm. The guest were forced to wait outside and some even helped setup which was very unprofessional. The wedding party had no proper guidance on the day of which resulted in so much confusion. The decorations that were promised and paid for we did not receive. This include: runner, welcome sign, chair covers, bows, Flower petals for the aisle, tea light candles, Table clothes etc. Our wedding party did not have a table or a place to sit which resulted in them standing during speeches and dinner time. We also did not receive the desserts that were included in the package. Wedding planners husband was the chef and while preparing the appetizers the wedding guest saw him preparing food with no gloves and was cross contaminating the food. With the guest seeing this they did not feel comfortable eating the food.Due to health and safety reasons. We reached out to the company/wedding planner for reimbursment of everything that was paid for but was not included the day of the wedding. Wedding planner stated she would be sending out a check in the mail. We asked to receive a invoice of what she was refunding so we can stay aligned and when we would expect it. She has not responded back to any emails to try and resolve this matter. This was by far the worst experience. This day is something we can never get back. I pray no one else has this experience. We will be pursuing legal action in regards to this matter. This is not a true company...
Read moreMy wife and I used this company to cater our wedding on March 4th. We had paid for 130 people to eat. Only 120 ended showing up. After we got back from our honeymoon and talked to guests about their experience, we've had more 30 people tell us how small the portions were and how rude the staff was when they requested a larger serving. My sister was the 5th table to go through the line and they were out of salad. When the last table of 8 people got up to get food there was almost nothing left at all. Not only did we pay for 18 additional people that did not eat at all, they barely managed to feed 112 of our guests. And that's just what we know. Who knows how many guests haven't told us because they're afraid to sound rude. COMPLETELY EMBARRASSING on the most important day your life. When we called and expressed our displeasure with the owner, Ms Washington, she made excuses and refused to acknowledge fault. She offered to compensate us for the 18 people that did not eat. When I said that was not enough and wanted more back given the other grievance and the importance of the day, she said she would get with her husband the other owner and would get back to me. NO ONE has returned our calls or emails. I am in the process of filing a charge back with our bank, because they required all payment upfront. I highly recommend against using this company. If you do have to use them out of necessity, only put 50% until the event is over. Make them prove to you that they can deliver. They did not deliver with us on the most important day of our...
