Highlander Foodland — Local services in Hueytown

I love going to highlander they are always so friendly and willing to help! Angela, Robert, and frankie are great!!! I dont care for the new older cashier shes rude and she looks at you funny when you use wic or ebt your opinions aren't for your job so leave em at home or in your car!! ...but everyone else is great!!! I prefer them over food giant food giant in hueytown is also full of judgemental rude old women who are not willing to help and if you have wic like to proceed to tell you that you cant get something that should be in the system right but it's not in there right so they make it your fault and embarrass you I will not go back there....that's why I love...

I have lived 3 blocks f=I'm this establishment for 26 years...I always rate any place on Safety...Cleanliness...Staff...This modern sized grocery store is well lit and clean parking lot...also neighborhood police frequent this location adding to their well rated safety factor...upon entering the store it is clean all over with a wide variety of items regular and sale prices...Their bathroom is properly stocked with hygiene items...The staff is friendly and competent displaying a group of satisfied employees that actually enjoy their jobs...Great Job Management...I recommend this locale with my personal rating as being...Family Friendly Location...Safe...

You just have to love the feel of a small town locally owned grocery store. You get a sense of personalized care that you just don't get at the larger chain brand stores. You don't have quite the selection ad those larger stores nut quality measures greater than quantity, especially in this instance. Store is located in an older established location as it had been in the same building for as long as I can remember. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. They do not have a deli or any options...
