Lux Nails is THE place for a great mani or pedi. The atmosphere is friendly, open and bright. The salon is always spotless and the service is the best you'll find. There is not one member of the staff who is not kind, professional and talented. As for the 1 star reviews below, you are entitled to your opinion but your reviews are ridiculous. To the person who gave a bad review because someone didn't move the chair arm for her after her nails were dry: You must be kidding! You didn't mention that you're handicapped, so I'd assume you are perfectly capable of moving the chair arm - you know, since you DROVE there and opened the door unassisted. And you didn't EXPECT to leave when your nails were dry????? What a foolish reason to give a bad review. To the person who complained that she wasn't allowed to sit in a pedicure chair while she waited on a friend: WELL OF COURSE YOU WEREN'T! Those chairs are for PAYING customers! What if someone came in, didn't see an chair available and left?? A salon is not a place to hang out - it is their livelihood! Why SHOULD they let you sit there and lose money? The first time I went in December to get my nails done at this place I thought it was great. The treatment of the people was very nice. When I came back on May 4, 2022, the girl who did my pedicure was so fast that she even forgot to apply the lotion and massage. I felt when she cut one of my toenails too short and now it is swollen, red and I limp when I walk. Also, after waiting more than an hour to get my gel polish done, I had to wait for the technician who instead of doing my nails got up and went to smoke. when he came back he smelled a lot of cigarette and was not painting the edges of the nail when I told him he became very rude and started talking in his native language and sent another lady to finish. Now when I call to speak to the owner I am told she is not in. All I can say is be careful when you go to this place. They are not...

At first my nails were breaking within hours of having them done and then Nina started doing them and that quit. I was pretty content until the last time I went in and I presented a picture like I usually do but this time the result was not great. I messaged her about fixing it and she said she could fix the lumps in my nails but if I wanted them longer I would have to pay more than the 50$ I already had. I told her I would just have to pay to have them redone somewhere else. So I guess I know now not to go back.
