Tried this restaurant for the first time recently and got takeout. The steak street tacos were delicious tender steak, onion and cilantro tucked into corn tortillas served with fresh lime wedges. Very authentic and I like that you get multiple tortillas on a taco the way its traditionally done so it doesn't all fall apart. Ground beef enchiladas with red sauce (delicious) , real homemade refried beans and rice so very good. Yum! We also got cheese enchiladas with green sauce, the cheese inside was not melted or hot, so that was disappointing, but the green sauce tasted very good. Chips and salsa. The chips were overcooked ,but the salsa was awesome. This restaurant is located in back of a store. I saw many authentic food products and spices in the grocery area. They have a small bakery case and deli/meat counter as well. The restaurant part was decorated nicely and had comfortable seating. The employee that took my order and checked us out was very courteous and made sure we had everything from our order. I look forward to trying more food from their menu....
Read moreI am very disappointed! I have ordered Birria de Res many times and today I drove there in pain and to get home and find out they did not give me any rice to go with the soup. They have always given me rice to put in the soup. Now I'm being told that Rice does not come with the soup you have to ask for it. So basically I'm paying $15 for the juice and the meat and the tortillas! What a rip off I'm very disappointed! Very expensive soup!! Never again, you lost me as a customer. The price went up about $3...
Read moreWe love authentic Mexican restaurants, but this one left us wanting. It took noticably longer to get our food than typical, which doesn't bother us if the food is good & hot. Ours was not as hot as it should have been. My food was on the dry side and my wifes was literally sitting in a pool of oil and not sizzling like at other establishments. Chips & salsa were good. We may be back to give them a second...
