I like the CVS Hummelstown and the CVS in Naples Florida. And I frequent them both! Normally I'm pleased with the manager on duty or the cashier (sometimes the same person) when checking out, needing help or asking a question. Today however, I had the meanest, most rude, most unprofessional female cahier I've ever encountered. No conversation, no professionalism, no common courtesy and certainly customer service; just plain rude and nasty! Acted like she had no desire to be working there and certainly no desire to be waiting on customers! Unacceptable behavior! Her job is customer service I believe. I asked her a question, and she just said she didn't know with a huge attitude! And gave me a very nasty look. She already had a scowl on her face with the customer ahead of me too. I own my own business and always told my employees that the customer was not an interruption of their job but rather the reason for it. And they always provided superior customer service as they should have. This girl was a poor representation of what a CVS employee is! This girl needs a huge attitude adjustment and lesson on how to treat customers and how to properly represent her employer, CVS! Guess what...if you don't like your job then quit! This was today, June 1st, 2025 at around 11:00 A.M. So they should be able to tell who it was. And if they have cameras which I'm sure they do, they'll be able to see that I'm not exaggerating! If this was my company and she was representing me, you can bet she'd be called on the carpet and given a verbal warning at the very least before firing! Which quite honestly, she deserves! I wonder how she'd like it if her employer treated...
Read moreI am updating my previous review and happily giving this CVS Pharmacy 5 stars.
Over this past year, the staff has consistently gone above and beyond. Admittedly, I had originally posted a negative review that reflected some unfortunate experiences I had more than a year ago. However, I am happy to say that my more recent experiences have been nothing but positive. I am genuinely impressed with how friendly, patient, understanding, accommodating, and thorough they are.
My situation is relatively complex, which makes me an inherently challenging customer - I have to work with the pharmacy every month to facilitate communication with both in-state and out-of-state healthcare providers, secondary insurances, brand discounts that have to have the non-generic specified, and medications that are controlled and sometimes have to be ordered. Over this past year, the staff has gone out of their way to manage that communication and are extremely friendly and patient in addressing any questions, requests, or concerns I may have.
My updated rating of 5 stars reflects the excellent customer service I've experienced this past year - I genuinely appreciate how helpful the staff is at this location and I can't recommend...
Read moreused to love this because it was so easy to pick up my prescriptions on the way into work. they started this new thing where they shut down the whole pharmacy (1:30-2) for their âlunch breakâ instead of everyone just taking turns to get a break like how most businesses do it. as someone who works two jobs one right after the other, 1:35-1:55 is the only free time I have during the day, itâs infuriating to get there and be denied my medication. iâm so thankful that it wasnât an emergency just yet but still. two days in a row I tried to get there as fast as I could, even if I got there before 1:30, they already had the gate closed. sure, it was close to 1:30 but the fact that the clock didnât say 1:30 and they were already shut down says a lot. a person shouldnât have to go through great lengths and try and try to get their prescriptions. I see that it might not be a big deal to others, but even getting there before their supposed lunch break and them not offering to help me is annoying. it didnât feel like they were understanding or sympathetic at all. when I work my customer service jobs we go through great lengths to help people even if weâre on break or off the clock. jus wish other businesses taught...
