I bought cigarettes with a promotion and coupons on the packs at the gas center. The price seemed high so I checked my receipt and told her. She told me I had to go inside to customer service. Customer service said they couldn't make it right as it is against the law. I asked to speak to the manager but an assistant manager, Calvin Parker, showed up instead and said he would refund for one brand but not the others even though they had promotions and coupons too. He also said that the refund had to be a store credit of $5. They over charged me $18.26 yet he acted like he was doing me a favor. I told him this is bull shyt and that I spend $350-400 a week in that store. He then refused to give me the $5 telling me I can do whatever I need to do as far as shopping somewhere else, writing a review and calling corporate cause he didn't appreciate my language so I called another Kroger and actually got to speak with the manager. I told him everything invluding what I said. He apologized and said they should never treat customers so poorly as if I was lying and that he himself knew I was correct about the promotions and coupons. He did have to give me a store credit but made it an even $20 since I had to drive out of my way and especially after just having major surgery that I also explained to Mr. Calvin Parker ehom continued keeping me on my feet waiting while he faked a 10 minute phone call just to call me a liar. I stopped back at the gas center took a pic to show I am correct and am not a LIAR!!! Called my husband and told him we won't be shopping at this store anymore!!! We'll spend our $1200-1400 a month somewhere more professional!!! We've never had a problem with Publix and this Kroger has always been good to us but it is just too far away from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe Starbucks had a sign up that said the espresso machine was broken. So the ābaristaā said she could make cold drinks or regular coffee. I ordered a strong brew. While putting things away, and puttering around - she took about five minute to tell me that the thing was that the nozzle wasnāt working for that brew but the other two were available. I wasnāt angry about the outtages but why take 5 minutes to tell me this then act surprised when I say thanks but no ā (how long will it take to make the coffee I donāt even like? Then itās off to the deli! I stand there for a long time and nobody comes to help. Asked a man in bakery if he can help me to get help in the deli. He asked the woman behind the deli counter if she could help me, and she reluctantly said yes. I asked for a pound of ham, sliced thin. I paid $14 for a pound of ham (thatās ok) but she sliced it so thick that thereās just 7 slices of meat. Iām serious 7 thick slices of deli ham complete with chunks of gristle. Ridiculous. She then asks me to tell a manager that thereās nobody working the deli and she doesnāt even work for Kroger. Nobody at this store seems to think I have anything else to do all day ā first the coffee time-suck and now Iām expected to communicate with management about their lack of staffing. Put me on the payroll already. The deli meat cases also had a lot of condensed water on the glass, which is gross. Iād like to return my seven slices / $14 ham. I wonāt though because even though the store is nice and new ā it must be managed by a team with the expertise of an 7th grade science class. Chaos. Never going back. Total failure and waste of time and money. Anyone need a pound of ham to grind into ham salad? Canāt use it for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will drive 30+ minutes to grab up good deals at this Kroger location, since it is the closest to me. Alot of my shopping, right now, is based on the sale ads and what's on promotion. They seem to always have items in stock that I am looking for. The drive-up pick-up team is AWESOME as far as courteous and consistency go; however, the reason for 3 stars come in for the customer service provided on the inside with the cashiers and self-checkout monitors, and the dairy fridge doors. The inside staff, all three times I have been recently, haven't even looked up from scanning or acknowledged guests. The self-checkout monitor I encountered acted as if it was an inconvenience to be bothered for help or assistance while using the self-checkout machine. Lastly, the dairy fridge section needs a face-lift on the doors of the fridges. They're falling apart and many of them do not even close, which leaves the threat of spoiled dairy products or not keeping grocery items at safe consumption temperatures. It has deterred me from purchasing anymore milk, coffee creamer, etc. from that section until...
