While I enjoy visiting several businesses in the plaza, my favorite part is experiencing the stunning sunrises and sunsets in and around the area! Here are just a few of my most recent pictures—I’ve probably captured over 500 sunrises and sunsets during my three-plus years of living in this part of Huntsville/Madison. My main concern, however, is the reckless way some drivers navigate the parking lot—especially in front of the Publix doors, where the stop signs seem to be merely a suggestion. Every time I’m there, I feel like I’m playing a real-life version of Frogger! I’ve come within inches of being backed into more times than I can count and have witnessed just as many close calls with others. The plaza’s convenience to so many neighborhoods and apartment complexes is fantastic, but the walkability of the plaza itself? That gets two stars.

Excellent Publix. Quite larger than some of the others. The proximity to gate 7 of the arsenal also means that they have a large variety of ready-to-eat items. Not only do they have their usual excellent deli, they have plenty of warm meals to-go, prepackaged meals and snacks, and a large variety of salads to grab. Their lunch/deli case has a large variety of prepared foods for every dietary need. They usually have at least four proteins available including fish on occasion. They also have multiple vegetable sides.

Yes, you can get the usual chicken fingers with mac & cheese. But you can also get salmon or chicken marsala with brussels sprouts and cauliflower mash...

A slowly up and coming shopping area. There's a Publix, Great Clips, and a few other businesses around. Once the baseball field construction finishes, this place will be full.

All the traffic is bad during rush hours, the parking lot is huge and there is plenty of room to park. Note that this place is dead on weekends. This place has lots of potential being right outside Gate 7. ...
