Went in for dye and trim. Showed the stylist a comparison image of 6 different shades of brunette, and that I would be happy with ANY of the darker versions.

She says she's going to tint my hair to give me low maintenance definition. I'm a natural brunette, I figured she means she'll tint my hair darker than it already is and use my natural light hair as the high light. Note that I RARELY go in salons so I'm too trusting and inexperienced. She gave me bright blonde hair for bangs, and dirty blond streaks everywhere else. I had to get it fixed the next day. The second lady said the first tented it but then sent me home with a irritated scalp (which was probably from her yanking my hair with a comb while it was wet instead of drying it. You dont do that with fine hair.)

She did the opposite of what I said. I don't live in town so I couldn't get my money back, and I tried all night to acclimate to it but still hated it. Couldn't even look in the mirror. She gave me the OPPOSITE of low maintenence because now I'll have to go color it darker for the next 5-8 years. My hair...
