Dear management. In the kindest way possible, The young woman that closed the deli on this day, September 16th 2024 does not in any way understand the pricing of your after hours deli food and she does not weigh or price things correctly, price gouging us on cold foods.

I witnessed her sit down 4 different boxes sat out for after hours, priced for a full 8 piece chicken, but were labeled and contained 4 legs. Then 4 more small legs for almost $10..2 very small breasts for over $10, 2 legs for $7 all in a the 8 count box size, so when you pick it up and see the standard price for the 8 count and miss the “4 legs” its just very stressful and silly and then we have to drive 30 min to walmart. & 1 lone piece of catfish for $1 in a small baggie. 2 small cold fried chicken breasts dont cost $10 plus tax.

We have been seeing oddly priced chicken for a few weeks now, one large box was priced at over $35 & contained all of the chicken left overs for the day, excluding anyone who wanted an 8 piece who couldnt afford $40 in left over fried chicken because she didnt want to separate it properly.

May i also say that your andy’s breaded catfish is my new favorite. I am SO GLAD you got rid of the old cheap gritty cornmeal breading & started using andys. Please never change💖

Also most of your sale tags on your deli shelf arent worded clearly enough and dont reflect at the check out & we get argued with in response to being overcharged. The female cashiers become defensive and walk back remove the discount tag, crumple it and toss it and say they didnt see one, or it wasnt supposed to be on sale etc & force you to pay full price unfortunately.

Ive never not had a cashier get defensive over an item not reflecting its sale tag & look at us like we’re trying to con them. Its quite uncomfortable & some of them have a bad attitude, when we were nothing but kind & quiet.

Thank you. I appreciate you & your store, but im very uncomfortable with the price gouging and inconsistency of your deli goods. Sometimes its all we can afford and cold deli is supposed to be rightfully marked down, not up. This does not happen any other time. Thank you...

BE FOREWARNED their deli prices have doubled & they did not warn me before hand. accidentally spent 18.99 on their 8 piece chicken meal! & never saw the identical board up front bc i stood further back. i didnt want to be rude, but that inadvertently became my last good meal for the month😩 she made all my food fresh, service is always kind & the mature women never rush me or force me to feel like im putting them out, so i feel comfortable here now & da*n can they cook💜 i love you guys but you suck for not mentioning anything to us beforehand, the pick 5 is...

Great little store. Stocked very well, for a smaller grocery store. I was also impressed with the appearance of all of their hot deli items. Everything in the hot case looked very fresh. Next time we visit, as we don't live in the immediate area, we're definitely going to try some of their deli food, as unfortunately, we'd already eaten, on the evening of our visit. The store also looked clean and neat. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars, is because of their parking lot. It's on a fairly steep incline, which isn't a bad thing, but not so...
