BROWN PAPER BAGS
Half-way through a turkey drumstick the size of my cat, my husband decided he needed a cold soda. We had been eating out front of this place so did our best to clean off our greasy paws and then went inside.
We'd seen several people streaming out of here with brown paper bags holding booze. Cheaper than the street vendors and the line was much shorter. We brought our soda to the register and asked if open containers were allowed on the street during the festival. The cashier said the police hadn't done anything about it yet and hadn't asked them to stop selling, so they guessed so.

Read moreIt's a country store that has a lil bit of everything. Tamales, burritos, and beer. The burritos are actually Portuguese style with potatoes in them. Careful! They are spicy. The prices are a tad high but hey? You gotta drive another 20 minutes to get to the next store...
