Lake Sammamish State Park Boat Launch — Local services in Issaquah

Confusing means for paying to use the launch. My wife paid the extra $10 for day use, even though we had our Discovery pass as the payment slip was not very well labelled.

Really did not like the boat launch itself. They use concrete rectangular blocks that are not lined up with the lines on the pavement, so stay close to the dock. My trailer got high centered as I was using the pavement lines as guides to place my boat.

Under the water there are large gaps and drops that will make it annoying for moving the boat/trailer/vehicle combo in and out.

We utilize this boat launch 3 to 4 times a week for the last 8 years. Boat parking is getting difficult due to individual cars parking in spaces that should be allocated to trailers. It would benefit launch congestion if cars parked along the back closest to the trail and leave more openings for trailers. This would get everyone to where they want to be without as much confusion. Good lake and side to launch boat, clean, specious, and people here know what they are doing, well most of them, some boat launches have immature guys, who do hours of pretending, it's entertaining, but time consuming.
