21Mar2022 MON, 08:30 -till- 10:30, i was at Lake Sammamish State Park having some fun .. walking in the light rain .. đ
i did the Route: [P] 1 2 3 4 J .. turned "Right" to get on (SE) Homestead Trail .. ~20 ft after passing the Logs-Barrier, at where my GaiaGPS map supposedly have a "crossing", there's but the "washout". i had a look-around at the "washout" area, and seeing no way to safely cross to the bank across, i turned-around at W J 5 6 7 8 P
The Trails including the beach walk - though wet and had some muddy sections (as to be expected), they were in reasonably good condition. Its the section of Issaquah Creek Trail between (6) - (7) that had some "obstacles" - a few trees, branches, debris on the Trail, muddier, standing-water on the the Trail .. - all passable with care. Also, the Restrooms were opened, and clean. Thank y'all Lake Sammamish S.P.
Perhaps, this section of Trail between (6) - (7) is "un-maintained" (because it is out of Lake Sammamish S.P. property line?).
Though i noticed (total) of 20 vehicles in the Parking Lots, i only encountered a pair of hikers (at the Parking lot). Saw - estimated 50 Canada Geese in the Park. And ~3 Cherry Blossom trees .. Spring is HERE đđ
Happy Trails Everyone! And Be Safe đ
