Ella Sharp Mini Golf — Local services in Jackson

We use to have the best miniature golf around with water features, nicely landscaped, and nice annual flowers on display thanks to Jackson Area Career center. It’s gone downhill in the last five years. At least two years the the one green has a PVC brake, but you cannot use that green, the water falls have not ran for some years and career centers young talent is no longer displayed. I’m not sure if it’s owned and maintained by a foundation or if Jackson County Parks owns it. But if things don’t change, I can see it closed up like they closed the pool next-door. Jackson’s got the Fallingwater trail and the cascade Falls, but our miniature golf can’t have a Falls going? I don’t know who’s in charge or the budget but as a tourist attraction that does nothing for Jackson much less trying to prove what Jackson has to offer for people to want...

This place used to be my favorite place growing up but after visiting 15 years later I was shocked at how run down this little piece of heaven has become. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great deal still $5 per adult or $4 for 5 or more people and still fun, but the bushes and flowers are gone just weeds now no running water ways or falls because of leaf blocked waterways, holes closed and no fore warning that some of the corse isn’t available, railings and seating haven’t been refreshed in well over a decade. Splinters and graffiti galore. I truly hope someone takes pride in this course and makes it great again. We have no complaints on the staff or price or fun to be had but it’s just a shame it’s...

My family and I enjoy mini golf, and since this is the only mini golf course in Jackson, we have been several times. $5 is a reasonable price for this course, and I think there is a discount for a group of 5 people for some reason.

The course is reasonably well maintained and attractive, but I don't consider it a great course. The play of many of the holes relies strictly on the luck of the roll and skill doesn't really come into play, at least not for the 1st shot. Also, achieving par on the only par 5 hole on the course may be impossible without a huge luck factor.
