Management( Jay Samander) was very rude to me. I ordered a 8560 King size mattress and adjustable. First I did not get what I paid for. Jay told me that he was sending an upgraded mattress that is more compatible with the adjustable. Jay changed my order on his own. My order was delivered and now we are basically low to the ground due to Jay changing my order on his own. While I was in the store I expressed concern that I did not want to be low. My boyfriend is 6’4” so a low bed is very uncomfortable to us. However it doesn’t stop there the delivery team beat my bed with a hammer to make the adjustable frame and mattress fit my bed. They didn’t use their equipment they asked for a hammer at my house. In the mist of the delivery guys beating my bed with the hammer they tore my bed. I have holes on the side of my bed. I have chipped wood and debris all over my bedroom floor from them tearing up my bed. My bed constantly rocks and completely has no support at all. I called Jay and told him that my bed was torn. The first thing Jay told me was that I don’t know anything about the adjustable and that he is right about. I didn’t know anything about the adjustable. However, I do know that no one should come in and deliberately tear up my furniture to make some equipment fit. If it wasn’t going to fit I should’ve been made aware of that so that I could make other arrangements however, the receipt says all sales are final and any exchanges or refunds are at management approval. I then proceeded to tell Jay that I wasn’t saying I didn’t want to do business but let me just go back to the King size mattress I paid for and regular box spring that my bed would be sturdy again. His exact words were, “Not going to happen”. I proceeded to inform him that I came in the store for just a king size mattress and box spring and he talked us into the adjustable. Jay still would not allow me to switch at this point my father took over the phone call. Jay then stated he wanted to make it right and asked that I send him pictures of the bed. I sent Jay pics of the bed to several different numbers. He stated that he could just replace the slack on my bed that his team tore up. I said ok but I still don’t want the adjustable. He still would not allow me to switch. I said ok Jay just send me the slack. He proceeded to tell me that it would have to be Monday. Now this is Saturday that all of this going on. He told me he didn’t have time and he had to run his business. He told me that I can just take them to court because he wasn’t refunding me or exchanging my product. Mind you I don’t even have the product I ordered. Even though he sent a product that he says is an upgrade, it still isn’t what I ordered, on top of that his team tore up my bed to make the adjustable fit my bed. After he hung up in my face twice one of my family members finally got the phone and said ok Jay well it’ll be Monday then. We will just see you Monday. Well Monday has come and gone. No call from Jay or Mega Mattress Outlet. Tuesday has come and gone and still no call from Jay or Mega Mattress Outlet. This made my entire moving experience a complete gray cloud. On top of that Jay stereotyped me by saying I know you kind of people because I know where you live. Jay was speaking of my address. Well I have a Canton, MS address but Jay I live in Deerfield so I don’t know what that comment was supposed to mean. I do not recommend this company. On December 29, 2023, my mother purchased a bedroom set from Mega Mattress Outlet, and what should have been a routine delivery turned into a nightmare. Upon inspecting the furniture, my mother discovered a firearm in one of the drawers.

The gravity of this situation is indescribable, and one would expect a company to take immediate responsibility for such a dangerous oversight. However, Mega Mattress Outlet's response was nothing short of disappointing. The conversation with their representatives, showcase their dismissive attitude and failure to address the issue adequately.

This incident raises serious concerns about the company's commitment to customer safety. It is utterly unacceptable for a business to deliver a product that poses a potential threat to the well-being of its customers and their families.
