Walmart — Local services in Jackson

Im a native to the county, born and raised. I was in high school when this place opened and it was epic. Its pretty much exactly like I remember it. As Walmarts go this location is great; the place is uber-clean and the shelves are stocked with just about everything a human being could want or need and at prices that make being a gluttonous consumer gorging on the sweet teet of our capitalistic society feel all but guilt free. There is even an actual 'Greeter' that greets you as you enter the store! Its the stuff of department-store-cult-fanatacism! Sure I grew up in the county but in the big city life there is no such thing as Greeters so its always a breath of fresh, country, small town air when I visit the ole Walmart in Martel. As I've stated, I am a county native so I say this with a warm heart, but any meme you've ever seen about the "people of Walmart" was created and designed with THIS Walmart in mind; THIS IS the archetypal Walmart. Come for the great prices, vast selection of everything under the sun, or the friendly employees...but above all definitely make the trip as this Walmart offers more than just sustenance for our materialistic desires and compulsions - it offers a portal, a connection to the psyche, our immutable, collective unconsciouses. It presents us with a part of our selves that was long ago; a raw, home-grown slice of culture that is quickly being absorbed by mainstream society. Worst experience yet as if it could ever get worse than the last time but they keep breaking that record and it gets worse every time I come to this Walmart back in the electronics aisle they have a looks like a flea market of selection for phone cases and energy spread out between three or four Isles never know where to find your brand of phone they're all mix-matched it's a complete mess and so when I bring it up to the associate Lynn in electronics her advice to me is one of two things one call corporate to get a job here your myself myself at minimum wage and she that was it and so it's like while really so she obviously was in charge of ordering and wasting all of themselves with these has been cases that you just lost trying to find her phone it's not even a year old great job Walmart Sam Walton would be turning in his grave right now seeing this place worst store ever

Part 2. I traveled all the way from pioneer to exchange printer cartridge just to find they closed early today wow way Walmart. Or should I say loseer mart. Place is a freaking joke. Just close this store down who needs it ?? They can't pay there staff enough to stay or at least show them respect they want to work here instead of there high school drama that goes on and they fire people for all the wrong reasons. It was a mixed bag @ this Walmart. I had several VERY HELPFUL, SUPPORTIVE EMPLOYEES working outside in the parking lot(my van wouldn't start, I was parked 1st. Parking space,1st. Row, Right in front of the doors into Walmart!)who spent time trying to help me locate a Towing Service as well as an Auto Repair Garage (I was visiting front Santa Cruz & unfamiliar w/Martell~Jackson area.)letting me use their cell phone since mine wasn't working. Inside the store, there were employees who said Hi, asked me if they could help me & were cheerful, wishing me a wonderful rest of my stay there. Then there were the Staff who didn't want to extend themselves an inch helping, were curt talking to me & dismissive. Overall, there were twice as many helpful, concerned, working @ helping me find resources as well as empathetic to my being stranded & took it upon themselves to speak to their managers on my behalf about my situation; verifying my van wouldn't be towed away & easing my stress level immensely. Their genuine concern & efforts were a great comfort to me in my awkward position w/my van stuck for several days (It happened on Saturday & my van was finally towed on Tuesday afternoon!)
