The story starts with one of our competitors on the same row (K-row), who sells some of the same and other similar products as ourselves. Well, under the old ownership, this competitor could get away with anything and management would not limit him in any of his unethical behavior. This man would set up right next to us and sell identical products at ridiculously low prices below cost just to discourage us from staying on the same row. He did this same thing multiple times and to many other vendors. His intention was to pressure every competitor to leave the same row he was on, so that he would have no competition on the same row. Another unethical thing he would also do is, he would go as far as stopping customers and ask them where they bought that merchandise (footage available to prove this claim). And, then he would tell them to go back and return it and to get their money back and he would sell them the same thing at lower prices. Other times, he would tell them that’s a knock off (fake merchandise), go return it get your money back and I’ll sell you my “original” “legitimate” product (eventually we discovered he was selling counterfeit merchandise, see section: Counterfeit Merchandise below). He did this regularly on an ongoing basis. We all had to tolerate this unethical behavior because management would not do anything about it. On April 1st we had our first opportunity to return the favor to our competitor and rented an additional booth right in front of him. Well, he raised hell and complained to the administration that we were causing trouble by being so close to him selling the same and/or similar products, accused us of being the bad guys. We informed the new management that this guy had done this several times in the recent past (under the old ownership) but they did not care. The new management led by the general manager took our competitor’s side and removed us from the booth and wanted to place us in a booth in another row we did not want. We told him, we wanted a full refund for the booth we had paid for and he would not give it to us. He only gave us a credit to use in the future. We did not make a big deal because we still had our permanent booths (on the same row) and did not want to jeopardize it. However, we had a full right to demand our money back because the general manager did not deliver as promised. We rented a particular booth and that’s exactly what we expected, no more no less. Now throughout three years we’ve heard many rumors concerning counterfeit merchandise being sold by our competitor. We never paid any mind to it nor reported such actions because it was only rumors, we had no real way to determine if it was true or not, neither that was any of our business. Surprisingly, one customer shopping for counterfeit MK purses discretely approached us thinking we were the person(s) selling the fake merchandise. On April 21st we were approached by a woman asking us “Are you the Arab guy that sells mattresses, sheets, and rugs and has the purses in his white van?” We replied, “No, that guy is further down,” (there is only one guy in K-row that fits that description). After she went to his booth, we noticed he took her to his van and don’t know what happened after that. We were unaware that this guy was actually selling counterfeit merchandise (all the rumors were and may still be true). After discretely asking several neighboring vendors if they were aware of the counterfeit activity going on with this guy, amazingly several vendors were fully aware but just kept it to themselves. The same day, we took the opportunity to inform him of the counterfeit activity going on. He immediately said oh those are not counterfeit purses, I’ve seen them, the label states “Mary Kay or something like that.” We said no those are not the purses this guy is selling because if there is nothing wrong with them why does he keep them hidden in his van? The general manager was 100% informed that a specific vendor at an exact booth location was suspected of selling counterfeit...

For whom consider to make business in Flea market Remona ,you can’t to complete if you want to start there because you don’t find manager control or solve the problems or understand the business , he just care about the food and how much he will collection money to appear in front the corporate ,the market earn money although some of the seller left the market because they are losing money after he came. Also, all I will offer it, I have proof. Also, I have big business in this flea market for long time more than 7 years and that I will show it through one year after he came. 6 months ago, or less, somebody stole item from me after I discovered it, and I returned it from the thief, you know what the manager did, he came and blame me for return the item and he apologized to the thief. 5 months ago, somebody came to rent for one day and I had some booths that I was renting monthly for eight years or more in some buildings in this market ,this is a new seller broke my booths and I called the manager to see what happened ,the manager solve the problem by left all booths broken and invite who broke the booths for free breakfast . Matt who is a manager for Flea market Remona who doesn’t understand the business or how to manage that place or how to work between the venders that causes increasing the problems between the venders. Last week, the manager got my booth that I left after the old manager and current security requested from me to leave it available for different people to avoid the problems and prevent the seller who try to hurt me, And stay next me and sell the same items like me. last year, this vender incites some workers for him to come and harass me and annoyed me on my booths and finally accused me false by assault and battery and brought the police to arrest me and brought witnesses for that. then, I surprised them to my security camera that I brought to record everything to protect me, the police returned and checked on the cameras and found the workers lying and the police did false accusation for the report. this manager is still helping these people to hurt me. this manager did not blame these people or order them to go from the flea market, these people read the manager personality when he did not reaction for what happened. When I refused the manager decision about my booth that the manager gave it for the seller next to me to avoid the problem ,the manager refused to change his opinion and tried to solve the problem by the vender next to me who sell the same items that I sell and came after me in this market , the manager order the vender to leave 3 feet that already passes between the booths and also , he offered on the vender to pay for him half the price for the rent and he will make for him extension for his booth ,and the manager will do for him everything and pay for him all costs ,this is a silly solution from the manager , you see how he solves the problem that he did between...

I’ve been here once before and enjoyed it. Today I sent a message through Facebook to ask if dogs are allowed. The response was “on a leash or in a cart.” So I decided to bring my dog. When I arrived I was told that I either have to carry my dog or he has to be in a cart. I showed them the Facebook message, but they claimed they didn’t even know who runs the Facebook page. So I walked to the office to speak to someone. They kept telling me that the info must have come from “corporate” and they have no intention of honoring what I was told. So I told them I was leaving. When I reached the exit the “manager” pulled up behind me in a golf cart claiming that he’d been “chasing” me “all over the place” to speak to me... although I had literally walked in a straight line back to the entrance to leave. I explained the situation and what I was told on FB messenger. He was very rude and told me that he’s the one who runs the FB page. I asked if he sent me the message but he said no. But that it must have been a typo, that the dog must be on a leash AND in a cart. I don’t know of any autocorrect that would change the word AND into OR. He again said they would not honor what I had been told. I explained that their FB page is their face to he public and they should put the correct information. He just kept telling me to put my dog in the cart and didn’t understand that the reason I was upset was because they had clearly told me that he could just be on a leash. He then basically told me I could leave, and I explained that I was trying to leave when he “chased” me down to talk to me. He very rudely told me to “go then,” and turned his back to me. I was flabbergasted by this and said “Oh my God,” to which he turned back to me and answered, “Yes, can I help you?” 🤨 Meanwhile, there are dogs on leashes walking all over the place, without service dog vests. The “management” told me that if someone claims their dog is a service animal, they cannot question it. So, basically if I lied and said my dog is a service animal, I could have avoided the whole thing. I guess honesty is NOT the best policy at the Ramona...
