Terrible branch. Terrible company. I ordered SER cable online 6-6-8. Then I call to confirm when the order is being delivered. It was listed to ship May 27th. They tell me to call the branch, so I call the branch. The branch tells me it will should be delivered in 2-3 days. This was important because we had a deadline.
Then I call back May 29th. The branch says they have no idea what is going on with the order. Are you kidding me? You listed it to ship May 27th, and you can’t deliver on that. Why not say anything? Why let me order the product in the first place? Absolutely annoying how clueless every person was from that company. They have no idea how their store online works. They 800 numbers acts like I make a mistake by ordering from Jacksonville, but SER is rare, so I ordered where it was in stock to be shipped, and they can’t do anything.
Then Jacksonville has no idea how online orders work. Absolute trash company. I order with City Electric Supply. We have the same tight deadline, and I am upset with them too because there is complications. They were extremely nice. They escalated to management, and they figured things out the day I called. Order was delivered May 28th despite some issues with how the online processed marking the delivery.
World Electric on the other hand. Every person I talked to had no idea. They couldn’t manage the order, and they let it go 3 days past their stated shipment date on the order. Trash company to deal with. The guy I spoke about this on the Jacksonville branch was option 2 then option 3. I am mostly pissed with online because the 800 number should be able to handle that stuff on their end. It doesn’t matter what branch I order it from the website. They should know how to manage like City Electric knew, but either way I am pissed on the Jacksonville guy because he acts like it isn’t his problem. I get it is online, but if it is his branch, then it is his problem too. To act clueless and do nothing when I call 27th. Tell me it is delivered in 2-3 days and then I call and there is nothing.
This project was on a deadline. We had to try and make this deadline while ordering a special wire to comply with the complications of the job. At the end of the day, we did what we could, but it is extremely frustrating to have this delay because of the negligence on the World Electric’s part.
