We decided to walk off our lunch and found ourselves at The Soap Lady. What a delightful owner and shop! Susan has been open for 25 years! The shop smells so good and she sells soaps, body wash, hand sanitizer, lip balm, gifts etc.. She is a proud cancer survivor and was so nice. We ended up buying shower gels, a candle, hand sanitizer and she offers free soap samples in the little plastic baggies.

4/26/23 We love the Soap Lady. Susan is hysterical! We were just there and stocked up for ourselves and bought for Mothers Day. She gift bag wrapped for us with adorable polka dots and pink ribbon! LOVE LOVE LOVE HER! She was telling us various things and her grown daughter said MOMMA! Which only added to our hysterics! My husband loves her too because it’s such a good time! Let me just say that her Pure Grace lotion scent lasts a lot longer than the Philosophies brand. The Lemon Verbena lotion is so fresh!! Plus she has college logos so of course we bought the WV soap. Speaking of soap? Free samples are by the front entrance! They are closed the entire month of July so what are you waiting for?! @yelpnctriad @thesoaplady

4-25-24 I had another great visit at The Soap Lady today. Of course I shopped but Susan and Lisa provide much more than a shopping trip. When you go, it’s like visiting friends. They are so casual and accommodating to everyone! Everyone chats and laughs together. I learned today that they can make a body spray out of ANY scent they sell. They don’t put it on the shelf but they will make it while you are there. They have several sizes that will fit any need or budget. My favorite is the Pure Grace. Susan told me, “Start with one spritz”. She was right. I put on one spritz this afternoon and I can still smell it 4 hours later …and counting! It is staying with me like a perfume or oil would. Definitely worth it! I created a great gift basket for my MIL, with all her favorites! I can’t wait to give it to her on her 75th birthday! If you haven’t been, get going! I found this store a little while ago whilst searching for “Cloud by Ariana Grande Shower Gel” as my girlfriend loves the stuff but we could only get tiny 30ml bottles, but just one small problem…… this store was located in the US and I’m in the UK and p&p was obviously on the high side 🥲

I finally took a punt this Christmas for a massive 16oz bottle from The soap lady store ans a present for said girlfriend, unfortunately due to rubbish delivery people the package arrived after Christmas and……. Damaged with the whole contents all over the packaging, but not to worry, because no sooner had I let Susan know, she’d sent me another bottle in indestructible packaging this time and it arrived amazingly quickly and my girlfriend finally had a massive bottle of Cloud, Ariana Grande Type* Shower Gel 😍

Now she’s had a chance to use it a few times she has let me know it is a very very good copy of the original and she loves it, so all the hassle has been worth it and Susan has been the loveliest shop contact and I’d have no hesitation recommending The soap lady store to anyone...
