Barrel and Co has a great atmosphere and we had excellent service from the bartender Rich. He was extremely knowledgeable about whiskey which made my husband very happy! It’s not everyday that you meet bartenders who truly have a love and passion for what they serve others.
The only downside is that there is no food served here and you can’t bring in anything of your own. You are able to purchase food and bring it in from the restaurant next door, Simply Thai, however, it was closed the day we were there. After having a drink and preparing to check out, the bartender suddenly told us that my husband was not allowed to wear a shirt with a political message. However, there were no dress code policies posted anywhere, and no one mentioned this when we entered.
When I contacted the owner, he confirmed that they do not approve of any political shirts, yet they do not have an official dress code stated. The lack of transparency and the rude way we were spoken to made us feel very unwelcome. We will not be going back and do not recommend this...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Myself and my wife visited Barrel & Co for their soft opening and were blown away by concept, staff and unique styles of drinks. Very well thought out on all aspects. Drinks are reasonably priced, cigar selection is great and when you walk in a few times, the staff and owners remember your name.
We’ve recommended to friends and brought a bunch of our friends since our first visit and have always had a great time. Well worth the wait for them to be able to open. Glad to have such a unique place in Jamestown. Never waited very long to be greeted, seated or served. Can’t recommend...
