The district manager is a useless hack that doesn’t train her people correctly. I physically went to the gym to cancel my membership and of course the only person that could cancel my membership was not there. The personal trainer took down all of my info onto a sticky note and placed it on the manager’s computer screen. No one contacted me at all after the visit. I was working out of town and couldn’t physically come in because I was 700 miles away so I called them because they are inept. I spoke to someone named Ashley and she said she would see what she could do to help me to cancel my membership remotely because I wasn’t able to physically come in at the time. She said she would contact her superior and call me back. 24hrs passed and no call from Ashley so I called back and was told my account was taken care of and I was good to go. Roughly 8 months later I receive a notice that the account has been sent to collections and I owe them six months worth of membership. So disappointed. Paid for the entire year when I signed up originally and actually got 15 months. Pretty good deal! Around 30-35 a month.. Now it is time to pay again. Told that the fees have went up significantly. To pay for the year I would have to pay double what I paid last year. Actually, if I signed up for a bi monthly bank draft it would be cheaper??? @ 60 a month. New management is charging double as well as an enhancements fee? Pretty good business plan I guess if it works. Kinda like McDonalds making you buy a new French fry machine to get a happy meal. Have not seen anything new added since I started. Machines need repair, only two treadmills currently working, tanning bed broken for months, cracked pads on the machines, roof has leaked from day one, black moldy patches on the ceiling, and the list goes on. I started a membership with this company in late Feb. and was charged $19.99 for that month on the 02/25/2022 Then again 03/11/2022 , 03/15/2022, 03/25/2022, 04/08/2022, 04/22/2022 at this pointe I call repeatedly and only get an answering machine in which I left a clear message to stop any further payments and cancel my member ship. Never received a return call and bonus to that they yet have charged another $19.99 on 05/06/2022 which appears to be way early of what would have even been a normal withdraw had I not canceled this membership prior to this withdraw.
