My 6 year old son regrettably needed two fillings. I was told I could not stay in the room with my son for the procedure. Consequently my son started crying because I had been talking to him for 2 days about how i would be there for the entire process. When he started crying i was told maybe it was best he sees a pediatric dentist to be put under general anesthesia. I told them he is only upset because he wanted me to stay with him. And i don't agree putting a small child under general anesthesia for something so small. I explained I was very uncomfortable leaving my son while it was happening and that i was not okay with sitting in the waiting room. I gave my son my word that i would be there with him. As i angrily walked back to the waiting room the dentist (Kas D Hasnani) rudely said in front of my son "oh okay youre just going to walk away from me while i am talking" completely disrespectful towards me and most importantly an adult talking to me like a child, infront of my child. They said if they have any issues with him they would come get me from the waiting room (yet when i say i was uncomfortable not being in the room it wasn't acceptable for me to stay) Which tells me they were just being difficult by not allowing me to stay in the room with my young child who was very upset when they asked me to sit in the waiting room. I dont know about anyone else.... But I pay them for my children's dental care. I dont need nor do i deserve to be talked to like that by someone whome i pay, for these services.. I am active in my community and often asked where i take my children to the pediatrician, get hair cuts, dentist office ect. And i would never recommend this dentist office to anyone. And secondly when making the cleaning appointment the lady who was setting it up for me told me "ma'am youre not listening to me!!!" as i was asking if they accept our insurance. Which i also told her I was struggling to hear her over the phone on...
Read moreHave been going here for the past few years, because it is so close to where I live. I just recently went in because I had a hole in my tooth that was down to the nerves and I had it packed with a paste to help with the pain when I went in. I told the dentist I wanted it pulled, mind you this was a wisdom tooth. Well the dentist said I am not pulling a healthy tooth and sent me home with a referral. I called a few days later to ask he call me in an antibiotic and they didn't and asked me to come back in to take another look at it. So I went in a week from the last time and I made sure that the hole was completely cleaned out so they could see what I felt and knew. The took another X-ray and then pulled it but he messed up my bone and now the tooth in front of that one is hurting at the bone, they charged me for both visits and the extradition and I have bcbs that is supposed to pay for everything except Anastasia and I ended up having to pay$205.50. On another occasion about a year ago I had a bad tooth that was next to two teeth that had root canals that cost $3,000, he pulled the bad tooth but damage the root canal teeth, causing my whole nasal cavity a ton of pain so those two teeth that I had spent so much money trying to save had to be removed now. Every time I see this doctor they charge me a ton of money when my insurance should cover the costs. Plus they scheduled me to so for my 6 month cleaning, so I had to pay for it when my insurance would have if they would have scheduled me right! Money hungry and don't care about people!
In reply to your comment. No, it wasn't dry socket. The dentist damage the other teeth and they had to be removed by a specialist. To the matter of money, I didn't say my insurance...
Read moreI came in on time to get a crown done on my tooth today. First, the front desk told me my insurance was anactive and it took them 1 hour at least to find out that it was active after they made I don't know how many phone calls. When they told me how much it was going to be, I asked them if could I set up a payment plan with them since the total was going to be over $1,000, which I did not have at this time. I had no way of knowing beforehand how much the total was going to be. I asked the woman if could I set up a payment plan with her and agreed that I could pay $200 today and $200 next week etc. until I get it paid off. She agreed that that was fine. In between all this going back and forth, and Dr Shay taking some X-rays and examining my teeth, it was 11:30 before they told me that they did not have enough time to do the crown on my tooth that they were scheduled to do. I left the office. When I called back to tell her why I left, and that they no longer had time to the crown because of all the delay with my insurance and the payment plan, she told me if I had not "argued" with her that so time would have not passed. She also told me that most of her clients come in with money! I just hope that they do not treat all their clients this way with this type of humiliation and embarrassment and bad attitude. And no, I would never return to such an office. I did not really appreciate the flippant and unprofessional attitude of the front desk when I arrived, or when I called back. I have been to plenty of dentists and doctors offices in my life, and have never had someone treat me so nasty and disrespectful in person and on the phone. Now I understand why so many people told me not to go to...
