Robert - yes I was told that the regular pizza dough was not vegan and I asked twice to be absolutely sure because I didn't want a thin crust, but as a result was forced to get it. Infact we bought two separate vegan pizzas where as we would have preferred to purchase just one large regular crust pizza. A good way to clear up potential future confusion might be to revise the menu to have clear demarcation of what items are vegan/vegetarian/gluten free suitable, including the crust. The current system is obviously not only confusion for patrions, but apparently staff as well.
I recently visited this restaurant and found it to have a nice, comfortable atmosphere with a welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly, and they offer a good selection of drinks. Parking is not an issue, with ample space available, and the seating is quite comfortable.
However, as a vegan, I found the options to be sparse and pricey for what they are. I paid $10 for a 10" pizza with only vegan cheese, and the portion size was underwhelming. The slice of pizza was literally smaller than my palm. While I'm glad there is a place with a vegan option, it could definitely be better.
Additionally, the regular pizza crust is not vegan, so you have to opt for the special vegan and gluten-free crust. This crust is quite thin and too crispy for my taste, and it only comes in a 10" size. The pizza itself is fine, but it could be much improved.
Overall, I'd rate this place as "meh" based on my experience. It's a decent option if you're looking for a sit-down vegan meal and are in the area it's pretty much your only option, but there's definitely room for...
Read moreThe service at this establishment was terrible. From getting our drinks, to the ordering process, to incorrect orders, burnt food, hair in food, and on. It was all terrible. I got my first drink refill after 1 hour of being there and asking 3 times. Other drinks were brought out 1 by 1 and I continued to ask with no refill in site. Other people at my table get refills before me. There was a hair in the fried mushrooms that we didn’t complain about because it was early in the disaster. Chicken on my salad was cold (which they removed, said it was supposed to be that way) and an entire large pizza was burnt. They took it off the ticket and we just got a small to go that we paid for. The small that was brought out was smaller than a personal pan. One waitress that was managing our table and her own was ok and tried to be helpful, the actual waitress we had was horrible. She’s the one that took 30 minutes to take our order and then an hour to initiate refills. All while looking very unkempt with her mouth hanging wide open and her tongue hanging out. The chicken wings we got and some of the other food was good. Maybe this was just a bad time to come but we won’t be back. I never make reviews on a place but this one warranted it. Let me add that a Caesar Salad was sat down at our table that wasn’t ours. The waitress walked off. When I came back I told her it wasn’t ours. She took it from me and then took it to the table it belonged to. I could have done anything to that salad before it was took to the...
Read moreToday, Scott was my server. He is always acutely aware and conscientious of my dining experience making sure my food is fresh and equally time prepared. Spending time with him as my server is a rare opportunity that is friendly and inviting.
I met Robert, the owner, today, too! He really enjoys the quality of his establishment as a whole complimenting not only the food but the staff as well. I can infer that he only hires the best employees to work with him as he endeavors to provide a comprehensive experience for his customers.
Previously, I have had the pleasure of being served by Cydney and Tiffany. The bright, connectivity of their service is phenomenal. Redpoint Inn is truly a charming and delectable place to dine. I have also had the pleasure of meeting Lana who is a manager here. Her laughter is infectious and attention to detail. I didn't meet her behind the counter as she was cleaning and prepping silverware as I was unaware of her position.
I rarely give such high praise to any establishment and I am quite picky. To Robert. Keep doing what you're doing! Thank you again to Scott, Cydney, Tiff, and Lana for making this my go-to...
