DG Market — Local services in Jasper

Been coming to this place periodically for 8 months because there are only 2 stores in this area to choose from. One closes at 8pm and this store at 10pm. It still hasn't changed. I have mentioned to them about their pricing their shelves correctly and they are still wrong. My daughter has taken notice also and has told them. We have compared this dollar general to others because there are so many of them, like they are trying to out do Walmart. The other stores have correct pricing. Watch your items being scanned in this store carefully. Even paper towels. Also, this day I came in ( Easter Sunday), I saw only one cashier, she had a long line and no one came from anywhere to help her, not even management. I don't even know if anyone else was there. What made it worse for her was that she must have been pretty new and not experienced enough cause she was so nervous, making mistakes, and the more she looked at the line, the more upset she became. Where was her backup/ help/ management?? This place is so unorganized, that it's a total open door to crime. Thanks goodness I'm an honest person. I worked at Walmart for 16 years and by my experience in retail, this place could be a target...

U can 1 stop shop without going 2 fight with Walmart!!! (Thank the lord!!) They have reasonable prices. Offers many savings opportunities such as: coupons, clearance, sales, promotions, and if ur really lucky penny sales. They are located LITERALLY everywhere!! Give or take about every 10 miles or so. W/a very wide variety of products from OTC meds and creams, make up, clothes for every1, shoes, rugs, curtains, tape, stationary,wall decor, groceries, snacks, hair care essentials, storage items, dishes, tobacco products, and so much more. The staff here is great. The store and restrooms is always clean which is more than i can say for some of the other Dollar Generals in Walker County. The only reason i give a 4 instead of a 5 is the long lines and wait times you occasionally run into here. I'm not sure if they're understaffed or what but the assistant managers will let the lines back up on the only cashier instead of opening another register. Other than that i have no complaints about this store and the cleanliness of the store and the helpful staff keeps me coming here despite the chance at a long wait...
