Horrible horrible experience! Drove 25 mins to get there as they had posted this was prime berry picking time. When we arrived, we went to get the containers they have for sale. (Traditional strawberry crates) and went to head out in the very small feild they had open for picking. We were told we would be directed on where to pick. After wondering around for 10 mins, we went to a spot where there were 2 woman I thought had worked there. After finding out they didn't, they informed us, there were not many berries, they were small, and not ripe. Finally, the field manager directed us to try another place, but said she was frustrated as to where to direct people because pickings were slim. 4 of us barely picked a pint of (not very good looking strawberries. When we went in to pay for them, and went to put the big containers back, they informed us that we had to pay for them. Yes, PAY for the empty containers! I was so frustrated at this point, and the bad experience, I explained in a VERY frustrated voice, that there were no strawberries in the field to be picked! I was then YELLED at that the container was now "contaminated," and that the owner had to pay 1.00 for it. I was trying to tell her that we wanted to pay for the strawberries we had picked. She then went and snatched the container out of my friends hand, (who had not said a word) I once again tried to explain, that we wanted the strawberries. She yelled at me.."DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WERE HERE THIS MORNING?" A person in line, who we had seen sitting at a picnic table earlier went to pay for their berries. I had joked with them earlier that they had found the good ones. as we were in line, the lady FURTHERMORE tried to humiliate me, by yelling.." NO berries huh?? They GOT berries!! At that point, we had set everything down, and tried to get out of there as SOON as possible. I have NEVER received such HORRIBLE NASTY customer service! We then drove to Circle S farms where we received pleasant service and delicious, red ripe strawberries, in abundance! DO not give these awful people...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place was VERY disappointing. Just Awful! We drove all the way there to experience all of these "fun" things for kids and there was NOTHING everything was covered with a tarp! FYI: the hayrides only run on the weekends so expect to be asked to walk a mile along a dirt road to get your pumpkins by foot! (We didn't do this we left!) You might say; "well they are probably only staffed on the weekends for the hayrides and such" but OH NO we saw at least 4 people walking around aimlessly doing NOTHING! Oh and don't even bother to buy any fresh apple cider because they were sold out! Or donuts/bakery items they were sold out of those too! Cider Slushy... you guessed it SOLD OUT! Save yourself the trip and go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow what an experience! On behalf of Hidden Creek Landscaping and myself, I had a lovely experience. The staff were extremely cordial, efficient, customer service out the roof and worked with me to find a feasible way to compile a very large and spree of the moment pumpkin purchase. (95 bad bois total). The staff made me laugh and smile and worked very diligently. Overall scene is cohesive, clean, space flow was open and clear and they apparently have a cafe. I did not have a chance to indulge with the cafe but I plan to on my visit back this afternoon on. Strongly suggest this place. Bravo Jacquemin Farmsšš¼šš¼šš¼šš¼...
