Mitchell Insurance Agency — Local services in Jerome Township

SCAM!!!! For the past 2 years I was never sent a bill for my policy only "cancelation notices" which were paid in full inclusive of late fees despite their failure to send me a bail. On 10/27/25 I was sent a final cancelation notice explicitly stating that this was not a solicitation of payment, When I tried to resolve this I was given several different amounts on how much I should have paid stating that I was going to sent to collections for non-payment despite showing proof of the payment of the cancelation notices over the past 2 years. They are now charging me an ADDITIONAL $100 in late fees that were already paid as part of the initial "cancelation notices" on top of $73 for insurance that they now claim I was not covered for 10/22/2025. This likely all stems from a period of 6 weeks in the summer where the system was down and I was told not to pay (again I have proof of these conversations). I have tried repeatedly to correct this with the agent and the billing department REFUSES to refund the late fees that were already paid. Also there was never a bill sent to me for this amount only an amount shown on the website, a website that is not even showing my policies when I log on. Terrible customer service. I asked for a call back regarding my issues I am having with my insurance company. I surely did get a call back with a lot of sass and unhelpful attitude. From the start she was condensing rude. Her tone of voice couldn’t have been more bothered. I work in customer service this was unacceptable. With that being said I was not rude to her which is why it bothered me so much I felt I needed to make this known. I don’t care the day you are having you don’t treat others in such a bad manner, especially when I was being kind and I’m laying for a service, I’m not paying for someone to be rude and to me and not helpful.
