Dropped 58 lbs of venison off in January to be processed into hotdogs/bologna. Received no finished product or any communication from the company. After hearing rumors that they lost a bunch of venison due to a freezer malfunction, I started calling and politely inquiring about the status of my order. I was given the COVID excuses and when I asked specifically about the venison loss, they denied it. Last week I spoke with the PA Dept of Agriculture and they confirmed that they investigated complaints of a foul odor coming from one of Thompson’s freezer trailers over the summer which turned out to be thousands of pounds of spoiled venison. Read moreMy parents are from Jersey Shore and any time we visit, we stop by Thompsons to order atleast 6 to 8 boxes of the mini bologna sticks. This was my first time visiting without my parents and I was worried I would get it wrong. Went Monday and placed my order to pick up today, Thursday. Went in around 1pm and my order was ready. The best part, the lady was super friendly and nice. It was nice to walk in and just have a nice conversation. We don't get that very often in florida, only certain places.
