Save A Lot Hometown Grocer — Local services in Jersey Shore

While I go there for the meats, the staff left a lot to be desired. Very unprofessional to gather to chat and point at a customer in the parking lot and laugh at them at the same time someone is waiting at desk for help. It’s rude to loudly refuse to help a customer while hanging out of a door because you can’t be bothered to walk over and apologize and discuss privately the fact that the store didn’t have the ability to cash a lottery ticket over $10. Because the store didn’t have the cash for lottery tickets that was going to be used to pay for my purchases, the groceries weren’t gonna get purchased and you expect ME to restock the shelves? And it was extremely rude to have an employee Hillary at a leaving customer to go shop somewhere else. Um…that was the plan, but good to know Lingle’s is okay with employees trying to embarrass someone and telling customers to shop elsewhere. Weis2Go got my business after my time was wasted. We went in today to get our ham for Easter and the staff was amazing!!! The guy back in the butcher area was so friendly and helpful. He not only got our ham that was put back but he also willingly got us potato stuffing. He didn't make us feel like we were bothering him at all. He was awesome. Even when I walked back to the back of the store near the deli area but not at the counter - the kid back there even greeted me with a smile. Then we were up front looking for broth and the female employee was helping another customer but still took the time to answer my question as to where the broth was located. When we surfaced from aisle #1 (even tho' she was still helping that lady) she still took a second to make sure that we found it OK! It has been a while since we have been in there but their customer service is second to none! Thank you for such an awesome experience. We will definitely be back! 5 stars to whole...

Store look a bit better but the prices vs quality of item is horrible. I went in when it first opened and they has some super good deals ended up getting deli cheese American it was gross and didnt really melt got some rib sandwichs they litterly taste like spoiled meat gross well im not one to judge so we went in a few times for one or 2 things. Well yesterday we stopped up and got 4 things that would of cost 15 at Wal-Mart cane to 37 dollars so that will 100% be my last time shopping there ill shop at weis and walmart wegmans ect.. i understand the inflation but things that are 99 cent at any other grocery store are almost double at this store. So not saying its not for everyone but i cant afford it and the quality is the biggest factor if we are paying top prices we should get a better...
