New No 1 — Restaurant in Jersey Shore

Best Chinese food within a 50 mile radius of Jersey Shore, PA. Everything is always fresh cooked. No slop on hot plates. I judge a Chinese restaurant by the fried rice, and let me tell you, the fried rice is to die for. It's succulent. These guys can't screw up my order. I mean, in the 7 years I've been eating here, they've brought me the wrong thing before when I asked for something else, and, it's a pleasant surprise regardless. It's always easy to mistake lo mein for chow mein. Everybody runs into something they don't like on any menu, but, this restaurant, like, can't mess up. Blue collar working class hero Chinese Restaurant. These guys put passion in each plate they serve. Go here. I highly recommend the Singapore Chow Mei Fun. I recommend it all. Nothing compares to their crab rangoon (cheese wonton.) My whole life, I was always afraid of eating Chinese food. These guys turned me on. I've eaten at many Chinese restaurants too, all over, and I'm happy to say, the best one in my book, is only a 4 mile drive away. I'm blessed for this eatery right...

Ordered for pickup and when I get there they have a sign saying they don't accept any cards. Cash or check only. Not a word of mention on the phone when I called the order in. That alone is enough for me to not order from there again. Update-- I realized I never said anything about the food. The food was bland and flavorless. The sticky rice that came with some dishes wasn't even a full container. The place is dirty and the staff is not friendly. If there were another Chinese option in town, this place would go away. I would give them no stars out of 5....

Worst experience ever. They only take cash or check. Get home and there are 3 bugs in my food. Call them and they tell me to bring it back so I did. I get there and the guy is basically calling me a liar after he dumps everything I ordered all over the counter by the registered. I asked for my money back and he gave it back but was really rude about it because "they were just bugs" is what he said. I will never be going back to this place and I use to eat there...
