My husband and I decided to go apple picking tonight, and it was both of our first time ever and we were so excited.. Overall the apples were great and there was a great selection. However, when it came to the actual apple picking exit area, the staff were unnecessarily rude and it completely ruined our happiness. We pulled up with our $40 big bag of apples (that we saved money up to do) in the open trunk and when she checked in our backseat beforehand (maybe to look to make sure we weren’t stealing which is totally fine) it was a bit cluttered and she EXCLAIMED “oh my wow” in an awful attitude and we were so deflated and upset that it ended that way. Read moreAfter driving the 35 minutes to get to Lynd for our annual trip, we were disappointed that we now have to pay ($11/per person) for the corn maze in order to get in, even if we don't want to do the corn maze. It is reasonable, I suppose, to have some sort of admission charge, given the other fun things to do, but perhaps not so much for those of us who don't have time to do the maze and are just looking for the vibe, some lunch, hot apple cider, etc. And either way, since this is a recent change, it would be nice if they had posted it on the website so we could have made an informed decision prior to a half-hour drive. Read moreIt was surprisingly my first time here after living in ohio all my life. my boyfriend and I got a 40 pound bag of apples and had a blast! it was rainy when we went because we were hoping it would be less busy. there were still people there but it is so spread out that you don’t see many when you are picking. the apples were amazing and with all the rain some even had water core (look it up it’s delicious!). we also got some good from their tiny farmers market (the salsa is amazing). we also indulged in some homemade fall flavored donuts! we have a blast and staff was...
