Terrible experience with Carlos. I didn’t get the results I asked for, and he repeatedly left me to work on other clients, leaving me waiting for long periods.

My scalp started burning from the color treatment because it had been on too long. I let him know and instead of him or his assistant quickly addressing the issue, another stylist stepped in to rinse it out. This was unacceptable and showed a complete lack of care or professionalism.

When it was time to blow dry, instead of using a round brush and making me feel like a human, he and his assistant roughly ran their hands all over my scalp and through my hair with the heat on high to get it done quickly, it was liken to someone washing a dog. Not only was my scalp still burning, my ears were on fire at this point.

I have never been treated so poorly in a salon chair. I won’t be returning to Carlos and wouldn’t recommend...

Carlos is an absolute gem!! I started seeing him after another stylist almost ruined my hair. As busy as he is, he worked me in the very next day, on a Saturday. i was so grateful and have now been with him for almost 2 years. I appreciate that he always get me in and out fast, but does fantastic work. Every time i leave his chair, I feel like the best version of myself. He listens to my ideas about my hair but always offers thoughtful and honest advice that ensures my hair not only looks amazing but stays healthy, too. His expertise, attention to detail, and genuine care for his clients, really sets him apart. Carlos has a creative expertise that is rare and worth the wait to get in. I came in hoping for a seamless layered, modern yet not “trendy” feeling layered haircut along with a highlight or brightening that was so natural that it wouldn’t be recognized -yet enough to feel energized. In the chair I loved the cut, but when I checked my rear view mirror before leaving I was blown away at how natural and beautiful the highlight/lowlight combination was. He made my hair look like shimmering silk. There is typically a wait and his work worth it. Note: Jamie assisted with rinse, had a fun energy and was clearly well-educated on the color /support and gave an excellent scalp massage during the conditioning.
