i’ve been coming here for quite a while, and before i begin my rant, i’d like to say in their defense i do always get something somewhat difficult or time consuming but nothing a licensed nail artist can’t handle. i also didn’t get the same person to do my nails, which is usually always tony ( i think that’s his name, he’s young w/ a lot of tattoos ) HOWEVER even with me not getting the same person, every employee there should be trained properly to know that rushing work, nails, any type of art is very noticeable to the customer. i got acrylic nails with gel polish and they also had rhinestones. at first, it wasn’t too bad, the man doing my nails wasn’t rushing too much at least not that i could notice, however as time went on i knew he didn’t plan on taking his time and the store was NOWHERE near busy. the polish had many mistakes and we ended up having to repaint the nails, and they always for some reason never completely dried but we finally figured that out. the polish has chipped and peeled quite a bit on maybe two nails, which has never happened to me with gel polish, but i’m not too bothered. i’m more bothered by the fact that i paid for a total of 16 rhinestones to be put on the nails and every single one of them came off with no force. KEEP IN MIND, i got these done exactly four days ago. the shape of the nails isn’t bad, but the length of some fingers compared to the others is awful and definitely noticeable different lengths which is such a huge pet peeve. i would also like to note that a woman put the rhinestones on my nails, rushed and sloppy, and not in the exact position as i asked. top coat was left off of one of the nails as well which i did myself when i got home and i had a few fingers that got cut with the file. i found myself after leaving the salon questioning whether i should remove the work that was done and put a different polish on, taking them off completely, etc. i’ve debated on learning how to do acrylics for a while and i can admit i know it isn’t as easy as it seems and looks, but i know that if i were a professional nail artist, i would not let someone walk out with nails that features as many flaws as mine but maybe that’s because i’m a perfectionist. i do still plan on coming here but i know to be a little bit more uptight with how they’re done and how they look, because for someone who already paid $60 for the nails and a $10 tip on top of that, they definitely should have came out better...
Read moreAn older woman did my pedicure and gel color with a hot stone massage last weekend. The wait time was average about 15 minutes which was pleasant with the calming atmosphere. During the pedicure the water was just above warm and the technician did not change the temperature after telling her it was a bit cool. Nor did she help me with the chair massage settings so I could turn it on after asking twice. I would not call the stone massage a massage since the tech barely used any pressure and rushed through it. When putting the heating lamp over my painted toes the tech repeatedly put it over my foot so far in that it smudged the paint and then the tech would sigh and gruffly grab my foot and place it differently. She painted over the smudges instead of correcting them which resulted in that part of the gel coming off two days later. My big toe has a large circle in the middle now with no gel polish on it. Considering the cost of the removal of the existing gel, massage, and polish I was disappointed. I cannot afford to go get a $75.00 pedicure ever, this was a treat for my birthday and Mother's Day falling together on the same weekend this year. I won't be...
Read moreI’m usually not the type to do this but the first few times I went to them they really did a great job but they have changed. The guy who done my nails rushed through I feel like it. You can see where the nail polish brush left spots almost like air bubbles in my nails. It seems to me that if you make an appointment and are a regular customer they treat you differently than they do if you are just a walk in. The only reason I used them before is because the first time they done a really great job and they were close to home but I will be finding another nail salon. The treatment I received today was really unprofessional and my nails looks like the need to be fixed. I know it’s my fault I should’ve said something earlier but I really didn’t notice the runs in the nail polish until I got home just a few minutes ago from running errands. My nails are also different lengths. They really are running themselves...
