Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Jonesborough

This is consistently the worst Starbucks in the area. Maddi (manager) at her team really need some training or be replaced. Today at first there was only 1 person working with a line to the door. Maddi was sitting outside the location and finally got up to up. She did not wash her hands and proceeded to handle the food for the customer before me with her bare hands. Maddi then took my order. The total was much more than what I pay for the exact same drink at the Starbucks down the street and via mobile order.

Finally a third girl got to work and they needed to ridicule her for being an hour late to work with a Baja blast from Taco Bell before getting back to work. It took forever for them to make my cold brew coffee because the 2 girls were more interested in chatting than making orders. The second girl, more of an emo look (she had no visible nametag) was picking up other customers cups and running her hands around the rim of the cups, obviously had zero food handling training. The taller girl, also no name tag but had glasses, was making my drink. When she handed it to me, I questioned if she put cherry in the cold foam. She rudely said yes. I said it’s usually pink and this is white which is why I asked. She said it is pink, it’s out lighting and walked away. Well it still wasn’t pink outdoors nor did it have any flavor of cherry at all. So I paid more for an incorrectly made drink.

Had this been a one time thing, I wouldn’t provide a review but when Maddi and tall girl (who never has a nametag) are working, I’ve NEVER been served properly.

I’ll skip this one moving forward as the one down the street inside Food City take mobile order, drinks always taste great and the are friendly whether you order there...

I ordered an iced Cocoa cloud macchiato and I was given a Carmel instead. I took it back and the lady told me that it was correct and that's how you make it when there was no Cocoa on the bottom of the cup or drizzle on the top like always. I get this drink every time I go to a Starbucks. She proceeded to get her book out to show me how it is supposed to be made. Bottom line she refused to admit she was wrong. I would have had her remake it but I would have ended up with the same thing so I didn't bother. You will pay more for your coffee at this location than you will at any other Starbucks location bc they are allowed to charge however they please being an independent location, and boy do they!
