This place is a joke. Originally, I had purchased my sectional through Conlins Kalispell. Everything went smoothly during the purchase, but once I got my couch home, I realized that the ottoman I had on order wasn’t going to fit in my living room. I called Conlins and asked them to cancel my order for the ottoman, and just refund the amount back onto the card I used. There was issues with them processing the refund, and I was told that I needed to come to the store for the refund. I went to the store as they stated, and they were still unable to process the refund onto my card that was used during the time of the purchase. After going back and fourth and back and fourth and talking to management, they finally processed my refund. Now, fast forward a couple months later, we were back at the store to purchase our dining room table. I figured I would give them another shot, as they had the table I really liked. Shouldn’t have given them another shot! Ordered the table, got it home, got it upstairs, and right when I opened the packaging, I noticed the table had been completely chipped on the corner, a big chip where the entire corner of my table was coming apart, I called the store and told them about my issue. They told me that they would order me a replacement - awesome. Now, the replacement arrives, I haul my broken table back to the store, and swap it out for the replacement table. Take my new table home, open the packaging, and this table was starting to chip where the center leaf folds down. Very unhappy at this point as I have been back and fourth trying to get this table sorted on multiple occasions, up and down my flights of stairs with a super heavy table. I call Conlins and tell them the issue. They told me they would call me back the following day. Never heard anything back. Three days later, they finally call me and they tell me that I can swap my table for the floor model in the store. I don’t want the floor model. I want the brand new table that I just paid for. I argued with the lady on the phone and explained that these defects aren’t my issue, and I would like my brand new table. She tried to tell me that there were no tables in stock, even at the warehouse, and that my only option was to keep my current table, or swap it for the floor model. I explained back to her that I literally had the table pulled up online, and I could purchase it myself, so I knew it was possible to order a new table. She said “well that would be a special order.” To which I explained, I don’t care if it’s a regular order, or a special order, I need a new table and there’s nothing “special” about me ordering the table online myself. She then proceeded to tell me that she needed to chat with her manager and that she would call me back. Roughly an hour later, I get a call back stating that they are ordering me a new table. Finally. A couple weeks later, the table arrives, and they call me. The lady on the phone told me that they received the table and they were going to have someone look at the table prior to us picking it up, to make sure this one didn’t have any issues, which is fine, because I wanted to also look at the table prior to making the swap for the third time. She then explained to me, “if there’s any issues with this table, you’ll need to return it, and we will give you your money back, but we will not be doing any more exchanges.” So either this table is good, or else, they’re returning it, and will not order a new one. My third table was delivered, I looked everything over, and the third one was good. I would like to add that the delivery driver was amazing and very very apologetic and helpful, so that’s the only silver lining of this entire transaction. Absolutely ridiculous and very unprofessional otherwise. Mind you, I have spent almost $6,000 in this store in the last couple months, and now I’m being treated like this. Read moreMy husband and I were shopping for a new mattress. Our first and last stop was Conlin's Furniture in Kalispell. When we entered the mattress section, the expert person was busy with another client. He immediately called Josh Butts, Design Consultant, to help us. Josh was knowledgeable, polite, professional, and a very good listener. He showed us our options and encouraged us to try the mattresses that were on display. After spending some time with Josh, we were convinced that we were purchasing the correct mattress for our needs. Josh also explained that if we followed the guidelines given that we could return the mattress and exchange it for another of the same or greater value. Conlin's had the mattress in stock. It will be delivered in the next couple of weeks since we live 70 miles away from Kalispell. As you can see, there was no need to look further than Conlin's. Thank you, Josh.
Addendum: The mattress was delivered 6/17/22 by Caleb and Gabriel. The service they rendered was fabulous. They would not leave until the bed was installed at the proper height and specifications. They were professional, polite, and respectful. We were so pleased that they were our deliverymen.
Addendum: Today, June 26, I called the store because I had misplaced my receipt. I needed it to apply for the warranty on the mattress and protective cover. Kelsey Phelps, was beyond helpful as we struggled to figure out what mattress we had purchased and what the serial number was. Again, as with our previous experiences with Conlin's, Kelsey "came through with flying colors." There was never a doubt that my problems would be resolved with her help. Read moreFirst of all, I arrived at the Sleep Center at about 5:50 PM thinking it was 4:50 PM. Although the store was getting ready to close, Ashley jumped up to help me. He showed me several mattresses and helped me decide which was best for my purpose. He didn't try to push the most expensive, etc. As we were making the sale, I mentioned that I wanted to go to the furniture store to purchase a sofa. He mentioned that it was 6 PM and the store was closing but said he would call Pete in the furniture department and ask him to stay to help me, which he did. Ashley was very helpful and patient with me even though he had another place to be at 6 PM. Once the mattress purchase was done, I rushed over to the furniture store, where Pete was waiting patiently. I had visited the store prior to this visit and thought I knew what I wanted and that it would just take a few minutes to complete the purchase. Unfortunately, the sofa/loveseat that I wanted had to be ordered and would not be in for a couple of weeks, which is not a long time, but I had company coming in a few days and did not have any living room furniture and needed it sooner, Pete helped me pick our a similar sofa that had to be trucked in from Missoula or Bozeman in order to be delivered to my house in time for company. Since it was late, Pete had to contact the other store in the morning to arrange the transfer. I got a call the next day to arrange the deliver. Max and Gary arrived right on time and were very friendly and efficient. They delivered all the furniture, set it up and gave me a few tips on the best way to care for it. It was one of the best furniture deliveries I have experienced. Also, I want to mention that I love the furniture! Kudos to the whole group of people that work at Conlin's.
