Bella Caffe — Restaurant in Montana

New owners started ok. Dinner good although expensive, but breakfast is another story terrible service bacon hard as a rock and black hashbrowns - black burnt bits mixed with raw hashbrowns- sons burger soaking wet water logged ham on a cold patty with a water logged mushy bottom bun- pancakes ok but the rest was horrible almost a hundred dollars for food that was terrible most of which we didn't eat i thought the 20 dollar tip suggestion was hilarious seeing as how gratuity is a reward for a job well done. Slow obviously did not look at the food she served, although it has become common with her most especially anybody good they must reserve for night time if they even stay very long seems like the good ones don't stay long- my very large family of nine and also my brothers very large family of also 9 will not be going back neither will our family members that come to visit nor myself nor my husband whith our c workers anymore- I never got asked how the food was i volunteered to.let them know at the counter she basically said it was our fault for not having it precooked but as I stated I dint have time to send it back to wait another 30.minutes to get it back. We were on a time limit as most people who plan their day. Also why would I send it back it was garbage the first time visibly why didn't she do something at the window and why didn't she just apologize instead of blaming the customer for terrible...

The food was good, especially the stuffed bell pepper soup. The service was great, the waitress was nice and attentive.

Two things.

First: The cups have a serious issue. I am posting the photo, look at the top, where we drink from. It's completely destroyed. Please get real glasses. They not only last forever, they are safer to drink from (plastic gets into our bodies and acts like estrogen, look it up) and look classier.

Second thing: The turkey sandwich was great but would have been better if the turkey was spread out instead of just slapped on in one big clump. It not only looks better but tastes better if folded in individual slices. It was weird biting into a giant clump of meat like that. I expected bacon because of how it was listed (like a BLT) and it would have made it amazing.

We really like the food but unfortunately our waitress didn't seem to be happy to be at work. First we had to ask for a kids menu which seems to irritate her for my 8 year old daughter. Then we had to ask for more silverware because we only had 2 when we were a table of 4, she seemed to get even more agitated. We waited n waited for her to take our order then had to flag down what seemed to be the manager and ask if we could order. She came back with a full blown attitude and said "sorry I was busy doing something else." We were 4 of maybe 20 people in the restaurant besides her we saw 2 other servers and there seemed to be one other table beside us she was waiting on and was nowhere near packed as it normally was. She didn't refill our waters and after she gave us our plates she didn't come to check on us at all besides to give us the check. We usually have a great experience here but she definitely left us wondering why we ticked...
