Food Lion — Local services in Kannapolis

Clean and neat. The gentleman that rang up my groceries was very pleasant and helpful. Even helped put my groceries up on the belt and helped separate my cold items, paper products, produce, etc. while loading onto the belt. The young lady packing the items was very respectful and helpful especially since I bring my own bags and like my things separated a certain way. Not even one eye roll, lol Great morning shopping. When everyone is kind and respectful it takes the sting out of the $$$ part of the checkout process. Thanks Food Lion!! Oh and produce was much less than Walmart. I buy rather large amounts of certain produce because of some of our farm animals and a 20cent a pound difference adds up quick. Thanks...

We had a grocery pick up order to go this morning. This was my first time doing a pick up. My order was not ready as it was early and there were many orders. Hannah was the associate who served us. She patiently and respectfully explained that our order had not been selected yet but that she would work on it and have it ready in about 30 mins. Hannah single-handedly restored my faith in humanity. I was contemplating driving off a bridge without my groceries but her sincere kindness and understanding brought me back from the edge of despair. Hannah is amazing. I hope she wins the lottery and finds true love. She deserves a raise and a medal. She should be put in charge of Earth. We love you so...

I am not sure which Food Lion this will show up on but I am writing about the one on Innes nears Lowe's in Salisbury. I was getting checked out last Saturday night and I forgotten one item, LETTUCE! Just as the guy started ringing my order up, I realized it. I asked him where in the produce was lettuce because I forgot that and while he was ringing up my groceries I was going to go get it. I asked the young immature guy where it was and he looks at me and says as though he cared less, I don't know, somewhere over there. I looked at him and said, never mind, I don't need it that bad.
