Normally I love this Sonic, however I went Thursday night 4/21 and it was an absolute disaster. Placed a mobile order for 3 chili dogs and 2 slushies to be picked up at 10:40P.M. I arrived at 10:45 and checked in on the app for the stall I was in. About 10 minutes later a notification popped up that someone was on the way with my order. I continued waiting and my order never came out. At 11:05 I pressed the red button to find out what was taking so long with my order. A lady answered, asked for the name on the order, and said she had my order right there and would bring it out right then. I continued to wait and still my order did not come. A family in the stall to my left was having the same issue and finally a young man brought out there order. I asked him what was going on as it had been nearly 40 minutes and I was still waiting on my food after being told twice it would be coming out. He stated he was unsure what was going on as he worked in the kitchen and everyone who was supposed to be working the front of house was just huddled around the manager ignoring all the customers. Read moreTo be honest I have no problem with their service at this location. So I will keep the five star rating. My issue is with their hiring of disabled people at this location. I am disabled but not in the way most people think I am albino so o do have vision limitations and different appearance then most people.
I went in for an interview back in 2018 and met up with an older gentleman that was a manager at the store. He asked me a few questions then gave me a math problem to solve. I was off by maybe a dollar, and he claimed if I couldn't get that right I might over portion or miscount change.
So the interview ended there and as he started to walk away I could of sworn I heard him say " what a freak" now this is how workplaces can descriminate against people with disabilities. "Oh you don't meet our qualifications" is how this happens.
I don't know if this person works here anymore but if someone from the corporate office reads this, if Sonic is an equal opportunity employer think of how many employees this person has turned away that wouldn't complain about hours or money they would be happy...

So today I sent back 2 drinks one being a cherry slushie add peach, she sends me back with the SAME slushie! mind you I didn't check for a second time on the slushie just the other drink I had ordered, poor mistake on my part next time I'll double check and best believe be sending it back as many times as it takes. Thirteen dollars I want my order correct! Her excuse was someone put the wrong flavor in the pitcher, okay that's fine as long as you actually fix the problem which I thought she had. I should've known when she said "oh we used a different cherry flavoring so it may taste different." No you never remade the slushie and it's still Watermelon and not cherry. I'm a regular at this location literally every other day, but at this rate the prices change every order even though I get the same 2 drinks and no it's not during happy hour either.
