A nice man gave us a free ride when we didn’t have any money to ride. It nearly brought tears to my eyes. This place is a magical place for train lovers of all shapes and sizes (and ages!), with a big enough cargo hold for adults and kids (and if your worried, plus size people can fit as well!) for a fun ride on their impressive layout. They hope to expand soon, and I really hope they do! My little train nerds absolutely loved to see the two different model train versions they had and talk with the conductor about it. My little brother, nieces and nephews adore this place. The people who work there are not in it for the money, but for their love for trains and the community. Bring cash (and lots to donate!!) and come down to ride. For those who don’t have the money, it’s very inexpensive. You could even just come and play at the train themed playground and watch the trains go round the tracks. Maybe even talk to all of the volunteers. I am moving away now but I will deeply miss this place. It’s one in a million, a treasure I hope sticks around for good.

This is a wonderful place to visit with family . It really exciting for 3-6 year child , but it's overall fun for all age group. They give 2 round ride for 1$ and the ride happen around a nice green feild . It has a tunnel and always has few interesting props here and there. We even saw few creature like deer, beaver etc They are upgrading the the track and the loop will be bigger in May be in Fall 2025. The place is nice and safe. The individuals managing the place are caring, welcoming and give nice aura to the place. There is also nice creek and trail right next to this place

Stumbled across this on TikTok. We stopped on our way to Branson and my 2 year old son was in 7th heaven. $1 a ride and he had a blast. We even made a point to stop again the next weekend on our way home from Branson. Such a gem. The volunteers do such a great job. Thank you all for such a great experience.

This place is amazing. Both me and my teenage son love riding the train. We also walk the trail to get an easy view of a very nice water fall. Places to picnic and just relax. For the mentioned waterfall, you turn left at the T on the trail. There is another waterfall to the right, but it's more of a walk. However, if you prefer, you can drive to a parking lot on 68th street. There's a trail there that leads to the second waterfall. Other nice waterfalls in the area include Trust Falls in Excelsior springs and the falls at the Watts Mill sight on State Line just...
