Upgraded phones and one employee told me everything would be backed up, and basically told us to leave as the store was closing and he had after work plans. The next day I had to make an extra trip back to this store to pickup my box that my phone came in and to reset my new iPhone because nothing had transferred as promised. 3 weeks later my brand new phone had froze and a different employee offered two options. One was to go to Rochester to a non-Verizon phone shop to have it looked at as this employee in Kasson didnât know what to do. And the other option was to go to a website to pay $199 to claim I need a new phone. This phone was 3 weeks old and I wasnât about to spend additional money to buy a new one. Isnât that what insurance is for to cover any expense that occurs??? Without spending extra dollars I purposely drove to Rochester because the employees respected me as their customer, didnât tell me to leave because of after work plans, and actually knew what they were doing. Plus, I wanted to gain a second opinion. The employee in Rochester fixed my phone in 30 seconds. And guess what?! I didnât have to have a stranger (at a phone repair shop) attempt to fix my phone, nor did I have to pay $199 to claim a new phone. This store (Kasson) also said they would override a set-up fee when I originally upgraded my phone. After the transaction I looked at the receipt and I was still charged the extra $30. I was offered a promotion back in November 17, 2021 when purchasing a new phone and adding a line to receive credit towards a new iPAD. In addition, I was offered a $200 exchange credit if I turned in a functioning, older iPAD in good condition, which I did. I never received the $200 credit, never got my iPAD back, and never receive follow up from Dawson or Dean when trying to address. I called and spoke to Dean on 3/16/22 and he was going to review and get back to me. Stopped in to the store on 4/7/22 and spoke to Dean. He was going to speak to the district manager, Nate, but Nate wasn't available at the time so he was going to follow up. I was never contacted again. Called and spoke to Dawson again on 4/26/22 and he was going to give Dean the message to call me back. Never received the return call. Called again on 5/11/22 and spoke to Dawson. He acknowledged my frustration and committed that he would follow up again. Haven't received a response back. I can't begin to express my disappointment with how this has been handled. I have been patient and respectful but it is obvious that someone made a mistake here that doesn't want to own it or isn't talking to the right people to resolve it. All I want is the credit that I was assured when I made the initial transaction.    Read moreThere is no option for zero STARS - They do t deserve one! My experience with this store was by far the worst retail nightmare and most expensive mistake of my life. I dealt with a newer sales person who repeatedly asked her Mgr to confirm details & on 3 separate issues the Mgr gave her erroneous answers. Upon disvovering I was in fact lied to I brought these issues to the Mgr I was told "I was given outstanding customer service" - obviously being lied to, not being refunded the quoted switch and save amounts and being charged activation fee after being told I wouldn't be is great customer service - but those are standards I would consider AWFUL customer service. The Mgr lied to me regarding 3 separate issues and was caught in her lies all 3 times - then refused to give me her Mgr's contact information. Upon doing research obtained this information & I did contact the owner of the store who asked for all my documentation to review & promised to get back to me with in a couple days...its been over a week & now she will not return emails or phone calls. I have retained a private attorney along with the MN Attorney General's office has agreed to advocate for me as the facts are overwhelmingly in my favor. I am currently still owed hundreds of dollars - I have given this establishment 4 months to come to an agreement & they have done nothing.
