I went to go see Deadpool and wolverine at Kenai Cinema on September 15th. There was a minor power surge that shut down the projection of the movie but not the audio for the first 15 minutes of the movie. The staff was unaware until I went to go correct the issue at which point the staff turned on the picture but did not rewind it to restart the movie so the audience could have the full effect. When I asked the staff to rewind the movie they declined stating that they were not able to do so. I understand it may not be that big of a deal to some people but unfortunately I work hard for my money and when I pay asking price to see a movie that was just released out of my hard-earned money I expect to see the whole movie. They also of course have a no refund policy. EDIT: after speaking with management they requested I come in the next day to receive a full refund for my ticket and my $25 in concessions, unbeknownst to me management would not be on site and I would have to deal with two staff members who had no idea how to process a refund. So I sat on site for 25 minutes waiting for the two staff members to figure out how to process a refund which ultimately led to me leaving my phone number for management when they come to...
Read moreMy extended family and I are really unhappy that Kambe has only made Star Wars available in Standard at 10 pm every night!! 3D is definitely NOT everyone's cup of tea. It's more expensive, involves uncomfortable eyewear to be worn and overall gives most of us a headache. Then only give us the choice of seeing the 2 hour movie at 10 o clock at night!?!?! Poor management decision!! If there was a good manager running the theater, they would put a standard viewing in a a matinee or at least an earlier evening showing on specific days so we can plan ahead. But trying to get 5 different families on the same page and schedule to accommodate a 10 pm movie night out??? Ridiculous! Planning a family outing should not be this difficult. Get...
Read moreThis cinema was actually bigger than I thought. From the outside it seemed as if there were only 2 theater room honestly lol. However once I had purchase my ticket for (Avengers:Infinity War) and enter this location it had multiple theaters. No different from one in a bigger city. This theater was clean and presentable.
Parking was easily accessible.
My only issue was the front desk for snacks. It was pretty small and they needed at least a team of 3 vs 1 working for the demand at the moment. Will take forever to get something.
Besides that, the theater would have received a 5...
