I almost didn't want to write a GOOD review because I don't want to give away the best kept secret in Kennebunk!! But okay, here goes;
This place has BARGAINS GALORE...we wanted to replace the sink in our kitchen and instead of buying a brand new one (I priced close to $150)... thought we'd see what they had to offer here. I'M SO HAPPY WE DID!! We ended up getting an even nicer (used, but practically new and SOOO NICE!) Kohler sink and it was only $25!! WOOOOHOOOO!! It was very appreciated because hubbs and l are retired & live on our measley ss retirement!!
We had been to the RE-STORE in Newington, NH before and were pretty disappointed, we didn't even know there was one in K'bunk... Let me tell you, this location is awesome! They have lots of everything... The kitchen cabinets were to die for (entire kitchens worth!) and priced at a FRACTION of retail cost!! Wish l could re-do mine, but l'm happy with my shiny sink!!
Oh dear... Also worth noting... The wonderful people who volunteer here (as far as l know)! So very nice & friendly š
PS... PLEASE DONATE EXTRA BUILDING SUPPLIES TO THIS VERY WORTHY CAUSE & HELP...

People donate these items so itās 100% margin with no cost on items sold (there are obviously costs associated with running their operation). They donāt try to help people their buying items with good pricing. It was explained to me that their sole goal is to get money to build houses, even at the expense of overcharging customers for items. Customers should feel itās a privilege to be overcharged, in order to help them with their goal, but customers donāt get the benefit of a donation write off for the amount theyāre overpaying. I bought an item and wanted to return it 45 minutes later and was told I could donate it back, but not receive a refund. Who are they building houses for? Why is that person more deserving of āhelpā than those buying from the store? In the end, itās their right to run their nonprofit the way they want to. Itās my right to write this review and never shop...
