Ron's Food Mart — Local services in Kennewick

First off, I love their tacos and I’m only giving them 1 star because I recently went in there and I noticed that a customer was paying with Snap and the cashier was charging them tax, and me being the person that I am I spoke out to the cashier if she was going to deduct the tax. She looked at me like I didn’t know what I was talking about and said no, why? I told her if a customer pays with snap you don’t charge them tax and she told me that they were not set up to deduct it. I was like ummm... what do you mean? Youre not supposed to charge tax on snap. So I kinda got into it with his manager because of this. I made her take it off, she was being so rude!! Told me to speak to Ron and I said I would but he was not in. I’ve been trying to get a hold of him to ask him about this. Imagine how many customers they have been stealing from??? SO RON IF YOU ARE READING THIS, you need TO FIX IT!!! And I know for a fact that there is a way not to charge snap recipients tax when running their card, it’s called ENTERING THE BEFORE TAX TOTAL!!!! SO IF YOU ARE PAYING WITH SNAP, MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT ENTERING THE AFTER TAX TOTAL!!! they are stealing your benefits...

I thought I’d share because I can predict exactly what’s going to happen… I came in at about 9:20 this evening to wash my comforters in the $5.00 washers. I stuffed my comforters In the washing machine and then I walked over to the store to get a $10 roll of quarters. The clerk says You can’t give quarters out after nine-ish. Thus being said, I now have to leave with my clothes in the washer times cutting short as it is because they close at 11. I return to begin the wash And now I’m sitting outside waiting and I can just predict already that I’m going to be rushed when I’m still drying when it’s closing time. Mrs.Ron please ask the guys to be a little more specific as to why they can’t give rolls of quarters because two days ago, I I experienced something completely different, and it was even later but I wasn’t told that they couldn’t give out quarters after nine-ish. I got my first roll of quarters and then during the drying cycle I needed more quarters and he said he can only give me one more roller quarters, but he doesn’t explain why and that goes right back to you, I know I should come prepared next time with my...

I walked into this station, it’s about 2 miles from my house, there is this large hill I had to go up and down with my dog and we saw the gas station ahead, it was about 102 degrees outside and we finally got there, my dog was very thirsty and I wanted to buy some water for us. When I walked in a man on the far side of the counter yelled saying “You can’t have your dog in here, there is a restaurant next door” I was on the other side, clearly not near the restaurant. I told the man we have been walking for awhile and it is very hot outside, we just wanted water and he told me to leave because they didn’t allow dogs in the store with no care in the world about how we felt, I left the store. Then the next best place to go was yokes, so I went walking to yokes and an hour of walking later I finally got there and my dog layed on her side out on the floor after I gave her water, thanks to that old man who kicked me out of the store, all we darn well wanted was some water. I’ve never been to a place more rude in my life with as much disrespect as this place, and I hate to be the rude comment but I feel like I was treated...
