Local grocer, great service. Some say their prices are a bit higher than other places, if you watch the sales you can actually get some very good prices, the meat is a bit higher in price, but more than makes up for it with quality.
Update:if you notice the owner has responded to every review and addresses every concern, this should tell you something about thier high level of customer service. Unfortunately I moved and cannot find another market that lives up to Red Apple

Update: I have been working closer to Red Apple lately and now stop by alot more, Bobby is often my cashier and is always friendly...he needs a raise, but then again so does everyone in that store!
Upupdate: I dropped a star because Red Apple no longer has a bench to sit on in front of their store. While this may seem minor it was a great convenience for me while I waited for the bus. I understand that the one they used to have in front of the store was moved during upgrades and then subsequently stolen. This is not Red Apple's fault and shame on whoever stole it but it would still be nice if it were replaced, even if it has to be...
Read moreI've always been a fan or Red Apple, but my most recent visit will be my last for the foreseeable future. I'm VERY disappointed by their response to Covid-19. None of the staff wears masks or gloves. I asked the manager why not and he said, "Because they don't have to. We provide them and they choose whether to use them." I asked about cleaning of shopping carts. According to a store manager, they do this every morning - once daily - and provide medicated wipes for customers who want to wipe down their own carts. But the medicated wipes dispenser was empty, except for a note apologizing for the inconvenience. Lastly, they haven't bothered to put plastic sneeze guards up at the checkout points. If they're not protecting their staff, they're also not protecting customers. I noticed most of the customers also didn't bother with masks or social distancing ... So I'll be staying away from what is clearly a potential...
