Do not even mess around with online vendors of parts, just go here! I needed an oven ignitor and I went round and round with an online seller of appliance parts. They sent me a broken part, the next part was incorrect. In the end I just sent everything back to them and went to KAP. I called a couple days before to confirm they had something. Jason asked for my name and he said he would have it on the side. When I showed up 2 days later he knew who I was and had the box on the counter with my name on it waiting. He tested my igniter and confirmed it was dead. Jason then took the new part and spliced the old harness on so that it would fit my application. I was in an out in less than 10 minutes.
In the end it was HALF the cost of the igniter online. (given the igniter online was an Electrolux OE part) I came away with this monetarily ahead even when the extra shipping I had to pay to send the part back to the online seller. I wasted a lot of time (literally weeks with the first broken part they sent me and waiting for the second part that did not fit) with an online seller and at KAP they had me in and out of the shop in less than 10 minutes and for less money! In a world of online sellers, where we think we can get a better deal online, KAP shows otherwise. Shop local, it will pleasantly surprise you! Highly...
Read moreI've gone here a few times for parts and advice. I'm nowhere near an expert on any of this stuff, but Jason has never made me feel stupid and his advice has always been spot on. I went today to get a replacement fuse for my dryer, which wasn't heating. He tested the part to make sure it was indeed shot, gave me a new one for a very reasonable price, and took the time to give me some pointers on how to prevent it from frying again and ensure my home's safety. You can't get better customer service than that anywhere. Kenosha Appliance Parts has saved my skin many times. I'll gladly be a customer for life and refer anyone that will listen. This...
Read moreThe first time my dryer stopped working (burnt out motor) I did what most housewives would do....call a repairman. The repairman was rude and told me that it wasn't worth his time to come fix my dryer. So, I remembered that this place was next door to the store I buy my vacuum cleaner bags from (Southport vacuum - great place also!!). The man helped me figure out was wrong, sold me a new motor, and showed me how to replace it. Over the years, I've returned for parts and he's never steered me wrong. Why deal with a rude repairman, when you can learn how to fix it yourself? Always helpful...
