ATM (Kentland Truck Stop) — Local services in Kentland

I didn’t even wanna give a star. I’m a truck driver & stopped in to buy snacks, so I parked in the closed down diesel isles in back. I walked on the very icy pavement to the back trucker entrance & it was locked. I stood for a minute to see if the cashier, who was looking directly at me, would unlock it but he just stared at me, as I attempted to pull on the door in case it was just hard to open. There was no other customers that I could see, so I knew he was just standing there. There were no signs indicating the door was not accessible & I really did not want to attempt to go around to the front because there was no clear path. So going to the front thru the snow & ice wasn’t an option & it was quite cold & windy. So I peered in the window one last time at the male cashier & wondered if business was so good they didn’t need my business & decided to go somewhere else & buy some snacks. Lol and this place has the audacity to charge $10 for parking but clearly isn’t truck driver...

Literally TRUCK STOP, my co driver sister and i stopped (im a female as well) to use the restroom there and we were told that is not public restroom without knowing if we were buying something so i told him, we actually going to buy so he said, ok then use the men’s restroom and your sister could stand outside and block the entrance to a man. By the way, he has the key for woman’s restroom in the counter but never let us use it. Terrible place, first and last time i stop...

Terrible place overall, as a truck driver this is better than nothing for a quick 10 and out. I come through this area a lot and this place is garbage…and it’s not 24/7 like google says, on 9/23/25 bathrooms were “out of order” and they wouldn’t take cash payment for anything not even a fountain pop…that’s what happens when you let Aladdin run...
