Relax Inn & Suites — Hotel in Kentland

Housekeeping knocked on our door at 10:59 am. My husband answered the door and said we would be out in about 10 minutes. She immediately responded saying there would be a late checkout fee. My husband went down a few minutes later with the door cards. I followed shortly behind with our granddaughter. As I passed the desk, the woman asked “did you get all the stuff out of the room?” After I said yes, she handed me a form “this is your updated bill with the late checkout fee.” She had it all printed out, waiting for me. She had no idea how long we would be, but went right down at 10:59 and had it all ready to go! The reality was that we were out by 11:25. I have NEVER stayed at a place that hounded me about such a small amount of time; not to mention anyone ever being so absolutely RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I won’t even get started on a review of the facility itself. But, I am most certainly going to calling Wyndham’s and speaking to their Customer Service when I return home. Save yourself some peace of mind and stay somewhere other than this Wyndham...

Easy on and off the hwy, but watch for potholes trying to get in the parking lot if you don't want to replace your front end or tires. Pictures advertised aren't real, lots of poorly applied lipstick. Check-in and out employee was great, however when we went back today to get our pillow we left the desk worker didn't even want to look to see if was there and was extremely confrontational. (Her rudeness is why I decided to put up a review.) Breakfast consisted of 5 mini muffins (2 flavor options) and an apple and juice, not whats advertised. Bed was plywood with a foam pad, or at least thats what if felt like. Water in the sink and shower smelled like a portable potty on a hot summer day in the middle of a corn field. Yellow stained ceiling and toilet seat. But they have no issues requiring $100 deposit and informing you not to smoke in the room, even though its clearly been a smoking room for a while. Definitely got what we paid for $52 for a warm...

Absolutely not. The floors felt dingy, the “grab-and-go “breakfast was something along the lines of hostess wrapped pastries. It was a really unhealthy option.

The staff was fine. We arrived really late, and they were accommodating.

The beds were somewhat comfortable. But that still doesn’t stop this from being a one-star review. It just felt really old and really dirty. And by dirty, I mean the type of grit and bathroom stains that are accumulated. I’m sure the maids did a fine job cleaning, but the rooms and baths really need a facelift! We booked this because my son was moving into Purdue and we got the weekend wrong, and this was the only place available. The staff did nothing wrong, but damn, this place needs a good scrubbing and/or renovation. It also felt odd that the lobby bathroom was locked. Sort of like a gas station. You had to ask the front...
