The Oakley C. Collins Memorial Bridge is a striking cable-stayed structure that spans the Ohio River between Ironton, Ohio, and Russell, Kentucky, replacing the historic Ironton–Russell Bridge that had been built in 1922. It has a total length of 2616 feet and the main span is 900 feet, which is the longest every built by the Ohio Department of Transportation. It was completed in 2016 and is named for Oakley C. Collins, a longtime Ohio legislator who championed education and infrastructure in Lawrence County.
The bridge has two lanes, one in each direction, with a four-foot shoulder on each side. It carries Ohio Route 93 between Ironton Ohio and Russell Kentucky.
