Dredgers Key is a military facility with ID or Military Pass access. Sigsbee NAS supports Active Duty and retirees. It has housing, a PX, Commissary, a small gym, along with a lodge and a lounge with limited hours. The base also supports a large campground for winter visitors with 93 full hook-ups that include 7 handicap sites for RV and some tent sites. There are over 400 dry camping sites during the high season. Rotation gives everyone a chance to have two weeks of full hook-ups before rotating back to dry camping. There are 3 public buildings with laundry, restrooms, and showers. Easy access to dump station and portable water stations. This is one of my favorite winter places.
