St. Vincent de Paul Society — Local services in Kiel

7-27-2024 I have to take my 5 stars to 2. This has always been a favorite store of mine. I shop vintage dishes and housewares for my online store. I stopped in 7-26 & discovered dishes moved to the farthest corner of the last building. The 2 isles are tight!! The furniture is arranged around the corner to allow approx 42" opening into the area & only 1 way out another small opening into the furniture which you now have to maneuver your cart around. Now my cart of dishes has to be pushed down a ramp & over 2 large thresholds where the additional buildings are connected. All the while my dishes are clanging together and making a LOT of noise. I live 25 mins from this location and try to get there several times a month. I live in the Sheboygan area & can get to Manitowoc, Fond du lac or Kiel in the same amount of time. My trips to this St. V are definitely going to decrease. I complimented the manager on the overall improvements to the store & expressed my concern re: the dish area. I offered a suggestion of switching the toy dept with the dish dept. She appeared very put off by my suggested.
