Farha is so kind and great at what she does. I needed a dress altered for a wedding and it's a difficult, unforgiving fabric. I recently had a surgery and wasn't sure when I reached out to her when I was going to be able to walk and travel again. She was very understanding and accommodating and assured me she would make times for my dress and be able to have it done in the time I needed. I went for an initial fitting and at my return had to tweak a minor thing. On the 3rd visit the dress was ready for pick up and looked great!! It was beautifully tailored to me and fit to a T. I had also brought her 2 other dresses at my 2nd fitting that needed to be brought in due to weight loss. They were ready for pick up when I came in for my 3, final fitting, and did an amazing job. I had a dress that needed hemming in the back. It's a high low dress and the low was a bit too low. Found Z&Z through Google and read the reviews saying that she did good work and was pleasant to do business with. Got a quote (and was cheaper than I thought it would be). The next day, I brought the dress to her showed her (by trying on) where I'd like the back to end and was expecting a 2-3 day turnaround. She sent me a text about 45 minutes later saying it was done already! I was not expecting that quick of a response. I didn't have time to retry the dress until I got home that evening and it was perfect. I even used the leftover material (she returned that to me, as well) to make a headband wrap. My daughter bought a dress from Altered State last minute for an event that was for this coming Saturday where the front was droopy. We decided to buy it anyway and while at the store I googled "alterations". Z & Z came up and I saw all the great reviews and reached out to Farha right away to see if she would be able to make things happen by her event date. Farha came through in all regards -- she responded right away, met us right away and then transformed the dress to fit my daughter perfectly. I'm sold on alterations now for myself! Why accept something "off the rack" when you can get it fitted to your shape and size perfectly. If you are going to the trouble to look nice, take the extra step to get fitted to how it's flattering on you. I wish I knew about Z&Z years ago!...
