Akasha's Treasures — Local services in Killeen

This quaint small owned business is located in an unassuming working class residential neighborhood in the front of the owner’s home.

Shopping local can reveal some great hidden gems, so I was excited to explore one of the few metaphysical shops in the area that came highly rated.

Unfortunately, the vibrations of the store and the haggardly-appearing, unkempt, woman, which I can only deduce is the owner, were low.

The sign on the door said open. Upon walking in, a healthy, muscled, brown dog approximately 50+lbs, ran full speed to the door, baring teeth and prepared to defend its territory.

Since, the owner wasn’t in the storefront to control her animal, I wisely retreated outside to the safety of the other side of the door. The dog continued his snarling, growling, jumping and barking at the door.

After a few moments, the tired lady announced I could come in. I proceeded cautiously and she seems annoyed that I had concerns for my safety.

Once I saw the brown attack dog was not in the store front anymore and I was back inside an even larger white dog appeared. TBF, this dog appeared to be older and calmer and had no quarrel with me, but after nearly being mauled trust levels were low.

I passionately explained to the woman that there wasn’t a sign outside informing customers there as a dog inside. She callously retorted that most people came in and “loved on the dogs”, so this hadn’t been a problem before.

I said be that as it may, there needed to be a sign to let people know what type of situation they could be walking in to. Taking zero accountability, she just shrugged her shoulders. And said the white dog wasn’t going to bite.

Therefore, implying the brown dog would have had me for a whole afternoon meal!

The storefront was dark, desolated and unwelcoming. It is clear this woman lacks not only empathy, but also basic business acumen. I hold people who purport to be in the metaphysical world to a higher standard of honor.

It is clear by her lack of accountability and her crass attitude that her products would be infused with that same energy, therefore making her collection unfit for use in any higher vibrational work.

A small business owner has every right to have a well-behaved, trained, friendly dog in their place of business. They must also take responsibility for the actions of said animals. This lady is irresponsible and just plain old...

What can I say about this famous Akasha tea? First off, I would like to thank the owner of this store for her loving, supportive and amazing help for all. Especially for me and my Familia. I've been struggling for about 10years with my health tryna find out what's wrong with me after I let my close friends and they brought their friends with me into my house. I felt they brought pretty bad energy with them into my living room that day. From that day forward I started feeling ill in my own home. I've tried everything medicines from the 5 star doctors in dallas nothing works. I turned to the gym and eating healthy no changes. There was times I felt like giving up and throw in the towel but something was telling me if you quit now thats the end of your journey and happiness so keep trying. Recently just last month I searched through the internet and found Akasha tea shop and went and visit her small and decent store, I get to try out couple of her teas and literally for about a week in drinking her tea everyday I felt a relief like something finally lifted off of my shoulders. I felt like a brand new person all over again. About her dogs? They do come around me when I come through, they're people friendly dogs. They do not bite and they're like big teddy bears to me. I love them. They bring positive vibes to me and greetings, making me wanna stay taking my time to look around and shop. When I'm at Akashas store I be going in like I'm shopping at one of the famous shops in Dallas Texas. The owner is amazing, her store is one of my favorite spot to shop for the best teas locally. I am from out of town and wanted to check out the metaphysical stores here. I felt the prices were very affordable and the selection is vast! I also purchased some oils that are made by the owner and am excited to use them for the upcoming New Moon. I was surprised to the location but am very glad I went in to check out.
